Upay links to the shops, restaurants, café’s and bars that you access, and enables you to make payments and receive rewards when you pay with your Upay account.

Upay also runs a number of other modules including Events, Online Payments, Online Ordering for pick-up and delivery, Voucher Rewards and more. The modules you have access to are determined by your business, education establishment or retail area that you use Upay with.

Strange behaviour

App works but shows a real strange behaviour appearently based on the type of account you have.
Not knowing, I created a visitor account now and deposited some 70 Euros to be consumed at a catering service that is the provider at my customers office facility. Worked initially when paying at the counter.
After not using the account for quite a while, I tried to login again and found that there is no balance shown on my client (btw not only on my phone app but also in a browser on my PC) anymore. Zap, just nill left.
Contacting the customer service of upay, they told me that I seem to have a visitor account and that this would need to be transferred into a personal account and the money transferred (so appearently I still have money in my account)..
Strangely enough, I have to go to a local caterer to get this transfer done. Upay appearently is not able to help me here. Which you‘d expect from the company that provides you the app and charges your credit card when you top up.
This is the worst designed app I‘ve seen for a long time on the market, leaving the users very little help to find his/her way. Paired with a customer service that is useless and slow - this is the type of app you don‘t really recommend to anyone!
