WireTap uses your iPhone’s built-in microphone to record your guitar, bass, piano, keyboard, voice and well… basically any musical instrument you can think of. Wiretap Riff Recorder is a SCAM

I bought the pedal to use with the app so I could get quick audio clips on my phone to edit and share , but to my surprise you can only use this with the computer … well there’s a ton of better ways to record it no need for this pedal. And you can’t even use it as a looper because when the pedal is using the amplifier to playback it mutes your guitar . I’m very disappointed with this Wiretap RiffRecorder being this bad when the brand as a fairly good reputation.

Clumsy, slow. Back to the drawing board, guys.

The theory behind the app is interesting.
HOWEVER
-the manual is poorly written (I had to resort to online third party vids to make it work)
-to listen to your clips on your phone, you first need to “sync” (swipe the track right) it...
-...and the upload then takes ages 😕...
-... which forces you to keep the snippets short (sort of defeats the purpose of having the recorder “always on”).

Luckily the app is free, so no damage done. The physical recorder itself does come in very handy and the USB transfer to the computer is swift and painless.

feels like a beta version

Great pedal, nice app. However I can't share a recording. As soon as I tap the share icon the app quits. And how do you delete a recording ? I can't find how to do that. Looking forward for an update.
