AmpGate Pro is AmpGate reimagined: a complete neural rig for guitar and bass, with a suite of high quality effects, creative routing, a fully fledged Live mode and much more. Now supporting the latest Neural Amp Modeler A2 standard.
Try it free for 48 hours. No card, no account, no subscription.
TONE3000, BUILT IN
- Sign in once and browse the whole catalog of amps, pedals, IRs and full rigs, with search, sorting and endless scrolling
- Tap a tone to play through it immediately, tap the heart to keep it in your library
- Download cabinet IRs the same way, or import your own .wav IRs from Files
THE CHAIN
- Up to 64 blocks per preset: drag to reorder, one tap to bypass
- Amp, Pedal and Cab blocks that hold as many neural captures and IRs as your device can run, anywhere in the chain
- Effects modeled after real hardware: LA, FET and OTA compressors, tube and tape saturation, graphic EQ with Tone Match, envelope filter, ring mod, lo-fi, stereo widener and doubler
- 8 modulation modes: Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, Tremolo, Vibrato, Ensemble, Uni-Vibe, Rotary
- 7 delay modes: Digital, Analog, Tape, Diffuse, Shimmer, Multi-tap and Reverse, with ducking and tempo sync
- 5 reverbs: Plate, Room, Convolution, Cloud and Haze
- High quality pitch shifting: three engines, up to 24 semitones either way, polyphonic and fast enough to play
- A noise gate ahead of the whole chain and a transparent limiter after it
- Load your own Audio Unit plug-ins as blocks in the chain
ROUTING
- Split your signal into up to 4 parallel lanes, each with its own level, pan and gain compensation
- Or divide it by frequency band through 2, 3 and 4-way Linkwitz-Riley crossovers
- Lane latency is aligned for you, so parallel paths stay in phase
PRESETS AND SCENES
- Store unlimited presets with search, tags and favourites, and keep 6 of them on the hotswitch bar
- Up to 8 scenes per preset, recalled gaplessly, with no reload and no dropout
- Full preset and scene tail spillover: delays and reverbs ring on across the change
- Export and import presets as files to back them up or share them
LIVE
- Full screen Live mode with large scene tiles, transport, tuner and click always in reach
- Setlist mode: build setlists where every song carries its preset, starting scene, tempo and backing track, and switches automatically
- Playlist mode: import your own backing tracks and play them for practice and jamming
- Chromatic tuner, metronome and tap tempo, with delays, modulations and reverbs locked to the tempo in note values
CONTROL
- MIDI learn: map any CC or Program Change to any knob, bypass, preset slot, scene or setlist step
- Bluetooth MIDI pairing and MIDI 2.0 support
- Siri Shortcuts to recall a scene, step through your setlist and jump straight into Live mode
PLUG-IN
- AUv3 effect for any host on your iPad or iPhone
- Same engine, same library, same presets as the app
SOUND AND SETUP
- Input calibration, so captures see the level they were recorded at
- Mono or stereo output, sample rate and buffer size, input channel and output pair selection on multi channel interfaces
- Background audio and a live DSP load meter
- Light and dark themes with nine accent colors, resizable blocks, tone curve on or off
AmpGate Pro is a one time purchase. No subscription, ever. The 48 hour trial covers the app; the AUv3 plug-in comes with the unlock.
Everything runs on your device. Your models, IRs and presets stay yours.

Gateway Pro is now AmpGate Pro.
Same app, same rig, same presets and library, new name and new icon on your Home Screen. Nothing you built has moved, and your unlock carries over.
This update also brings bug fixes and stability improvements throughout.
