The important stuff hides on your phone.
A contract you signed once. A receipt you'll need at tax time. Your insurance card. An API key you pasted into a note and forgot about. It's all in there — buried in Files, in Downloads, in screenshots — right up until the moment you actually need it.
Cerna finds it.
Point Cerna at a folder and it surfaces what matters — receipts, invoices, IDs, insurance, contracts, statements, tax forms — sorted, with the noise kept out of your way. New documents get caught as they arrive. And every bit of it happens on your device.
WHY CERNA IS DIFFERENT
On-device. Nothing you scan ever leaves your phone. No account, no cloud, no server that can leak.
Deterministic, not a black box. Cerna recognizes documents by their patterns — it doesn't ship your private files off to someone's AI to guess. That means it works on every iPhone, offline, on a plane.
Pay once. $5.99, one time. No subscription — because there's no server to pay for.
WHAT IT DOES
• Surfaces the important documents you forgot you had
• Sorts them automatically — receipts, invoices, IDs, insurance, contracts, tax, statements
• Search everything by what's inside it, not just the filename — and from your Home Screen via Spotlight
• Catches new documents from the share sheet — stop printing it, share it to Cerna
• Reads business cards straight into Contacts
• Finds exposed secrets — API keys and passwords sitting in plaintext — and routes them to the Keychain, never to a model
• Reminds you before things expire — insurance, licenses, renewals
• Exports receipts and invoices to a spreadsheet for taxes and reimbursement
• Tidies up: duplicates, stale downloads, and your biggest files
Built for people who run things from their phone — and are done paying monthly for the privilege.
One price. No subscription. Runs entirely on your device.

Music files now index. Cerna reads a track's own tags — title, artist, album — so a folder of music is searchable without opening anything.
Seven new categories: Music, Medical, Legal, Warranty, Manual, Travel and Education.
Make your own categories. Name one, pick a symbol, file anything into it. Cerna won't guess what a category you invented means, so these stay yours to assign.
Scan a folder again. Cerna now checks a source for new and changed files without duplicating what it already has — pull to refresh in Settings, or swipe a source. Anything you've saved since you first added that folder gets picked up.
Open the file. Every document now shows where it lives, and tapping the location opens it.
Most of this came out of one customer's first email. Keep it coming.
