See what you added last. Tap Sort & Filter in the library and choose Newest added or Oldest added. Adding a new chapter moves its comic to the top.

Free up space without losing your comics. Press and hold a chapter or a comic, then tap 'Remove from device'. It's removed from your iPhone but stays in iCloud, and downloads again when you open it.

Four new looks for your library, a new app icon and a friendly guide. • Shelves. A home page with the comic you're reading up front — tap Resume to pick up where you left off — and shelves for your favorites, up next and finished series. Search from the bar at the bottom. • Coverflow. Flip through your collection in 3D. Tap the cover in the middle to see its chapters; scroll the grid below and the covers glide along. • Lantern Cinema. A late-night screening room: what you're reading fills the top as a big poster, with warm lamp light and film grain. • Holo Foil. Every series becomes a shiny collectible card that shimmers when you tilt your phone. Swipe your reading hand to shuffle it. • Already using Comix Reader? Your library looks the same as before. Try the new themes from the message you'll see once, or any time in Settings → Appearance → Reader theme. • New app icon and an animated welcome when you open the app. • Meet Pixel! The cat shows you around the library. Replay the tour any time from Settings Improvements • Sorting now works in every filter, including Reading. • Continue Reading updates as soon as you close a comic. • Covers of comics in iCloud appear as soon as a chapter is downloaded — no restart needed. • Smoother scrolling in large libraries. • Every cover shows its chapter count. • The search field always has a clear / close button.

Version 1.4.0: • Ongoing or Completed. Tag any series by its publication status — still running, or finished. A small badge appears on completed covers, and you can show or hide each group from the new "Sort & Filter" menu. This is separate from reading progress, so it won't touch your read/unread state. • Keep screen on while reading. The display no longer dims or locks during the long pauses between page turns. On by default; turn it off any time in Settings → Reader.

Eight visual styles for the reader and library — Crimson, Terminus, Atelier, Sugarcoat, Tokyo 2099, Shōwa, Konkret, Hearthside — plus the original "System" look. Pick one in Settings → Appearance → Reader theme. Each theme bundles its own display and body fonts; switching is instant. • "To Read" filter. New chip in the library filter bar between Favorites and Completed.
