This online matching application is unique because it allows entrepreneurs and potential angel investors direct access to each other. The app facilitates direct communication between entrepreneurs and potential angel investors through features like chat, pitch videos, request business proposal and comments, enabling them to address perception mismatches effectively. The chat and request business proposal features can allow potential investors to conduct preliminary online due diligence before agreeing to connect with entrepreneurs for more detailed due diligence which may include on-site inspections, examinations or audits to verify information. FEATURES - Sign Up o Create an account as an entrepreneur, angel investor or corporate investor o An entrepreneur is an individual who legally owns a business. o Angel investor is a high-net-worth or upper-middle-class individual seeking investment opportunities. o A corporate investor is a company or organisation that invests in other businesses, typically startups or small-scale businesses. - Create a pitch: o Choose a pitch video, enter business name, select industry, enter funding request details, add pitch decks, and upload video. Only entrepreneurs can create pitch. - Watch pitch video, Comment and Transact: o Investors can watch pitch video of an entrepreneur, comment and click the transact button to initiate transaction with entrepreneur. The transact button allows an investor to view company profile, initiate chat, request business proposal, accept offers or give counter offers. o The pitch video can be a voice-over presentation, a recording of an entrepreneur pitching, a video of the business process with captions, or an animated video of the business, but it is not restricted to these formats. o Entrepreneurs can comment and reply to comment on their videos. - Accept offer or Counteroffer: o Investors can consider the ask of the entrepreneur and give counter offers in case they want to make a different offer to the entrepreneur after conducting their preliminary online due diligence. This is a contingent agreement dependent on further external due diligence to verify information provided. o Entrepreneurs can also consider the counteroffer of investors and give another offer. o Accepting offers gives eiConnect the go-ahead to connect an entrepreneur and investor for further external discussions by sending emails and contacts to each other. - Chat: o A chat between an entrepreneur and investor can only be initiated by the investor. o The chat feature facilitates direct communication between entrepreneurs and potential investors. It helps investors get further clarification on a pitch video directly from the entrepreneur. Investors can use this as a medium for conducting preliminary online due diligence before agreeing to connect with an entrepreneur. - Request and send Business Proposal: o For further information the investors can request for business proposal in-app and entrepreneur can send business proposal in-app.
