The eLO SFP app enables users to quickly and easily identify the manufacturer for which the LightOptics fiber optic module has been programmed. Simply point the camera at the barcode or enter the serial number and the app will display transceiver specifications such as part number, brief description, serial number, compatibility. The application supports only transceivers of the Lightoptics manufacturer of the following types: SFP, SFP+, SFP28, QSFP+, QSFP28, and DAC cables. Together with the LightBoard programmer, the eLO SFP application allows self-configuration of SFP, SFP+, SFP28, QSFP+, QSFP28 transceivers, and DAC cables (individually each end), to any switch manufacturer. Configuration is only 2 clicks! Simply indicate the manufacturer and click save. You can program the cartridges multiple times and reinstall them in different devices. The device runs in the ‘cloud’, so it is continuously updated with new hardware versions, new interfaces, so it does not need constant updates. With the LightBoard programmer / encoder - adapt your LightOptics optical modules to work in almost any commercially available network device, - you will reduce your inventory, you can have one type of spare cartridge at a time, which you program under any manufacturer on demand. No more duplication of the same types of modules on the shelves, - at the module ordering stage, you do not need to have the exact type of equipment in which the optical module will be installed - you program it yourself before installation, - you have access to support - you can take advantage of professional service support - you have the possibility to quickly reprogram the optical modules to new devices and changing softwares You can change the vendor coding on your own- it's easy!
