Tap your next meeting in FollowAlong to import it, attendees and all, and jump straight to it. Select a card and FollowAlong suggests the cards two steps out that several of its connections share, ready to connect with a long press. Exported transcripts now mark the meetings you were in and the cards you selected, so an AI tool reading one knows what was going on (Pro). Fixed: the live transcript no longer pauses when you select a different card. Fixed: edits to a card show everywhere as soon as you save.

Your cards now work with Shortcuts. Twelve actions let you create, edit, connect and find cards, reach your daily card, and read back a day's transcript. Build the automation you want and iXnote does its part. Every card also has an appendix. Text there stays out of the way on the card, and search still finds it, so your automations have somewhere to write. Fixed: meeting import now respects your excluded email list, so hosting a meeting no longer makes a card for you.

FollowAlong just got smarter. iXnote now runs the latest open-source AI models entirely on your device. FollowAlong understands your conversations better and drafts sharper cards, and as always, nothing you say ever leaves your device. Transcripts are now kept for seven days. Older transcript is deleted automatically. Cards you accepted are yours and are never deleted. FollowAlong works on any iPhone, iPad, or Mac that supports Apple Intelligence.

Export your cards as mind maps (Pro) Send any card and its connections out as a FreeMind mind map or an OPML outline. The file mirrors what you see: the selected card plus its visible connections, two degrees deep. Categories you can count on Categories now stay in sync across your devices without needing a restart, and duplicates repair themselves. Fixes Importing an upcoming meeting no longer freezes card selection, backup export works reliably again, and imported mind map notes keep their paragraphs on the right cards. Existing libraries repair themselves automatically on first launch.

Fixes an iCloud sync issue from the previous update that could cause duplicate cards to appear and syncing to stall across devices. After you update, affected libraries clean themselves up automatically. Nothing for you to do. Thanks for your patience.

FollowAlong is sharper. Cleaner transcription, and smarter suggestions, because it now reads the connections between your cards and surfaces context that lands closer to what the moment needs. It still runs entirely on your device. Your cards stay yours. All your connected cards, now on iPhone. A new tab brings the whole picture to iPhone, in portrait or landscape, free. Bring your notes with you (Pro). Import from Obsidian, mind maps, OPML and CSV. It all comes in under your own categories and adds to what you've already got. Nothing gets overwritten.

This is the update I've been most excited to ship: real AI assistance, working right alongside your thinking. As you move through a meeting, a lecture, or a conversation, iXnote now surfaces the nodes in your graph that relate to what's happening, right when they're useful. A thinking companion in the moment, not a transcript handed to you afterwards. It runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device AI. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is stored anywhere but with you. Two things it does as you go: • Brings back older ideas you'd forgotten were relevant. The connection you made six months ago, in front of you exactly when it matters. • Suggests new nodes worth capturing, so you can grab a thought without breaking your flow. What it still won't do is link things for you. That part stays yours, because the linking is the thinking. iXnote just makes sure the right ideas are in front of you while you do it. And for Pro users: you can now export transcripts too. Smarter, faster, and still completely private. I hope you like it.
