LiveSpec 2.2 brings a 14 day free trial through the App Store, a new plans screen, and a round of fixes from show days. FREE TRIAL New subscribers get 14 days of All Access free. Start it from the plans screen and Apple handles the rest: nothing is charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then. The plans screen is new as well, with the price up front and the trial terms spelled out. SYSTEM TUNE Live traces draw as solid strokes per level, so a trace reads at a glance. A delay realign keeps your averaging and coherence instead of resetting them. The live trace no longer collapses to a flat line when another device changes the active configuration. Measurement details and the title editor open straight from the history drawer. Live capture no longer ties up the interface during a measurement. ON THE PHONE iPhone Duo gets a layout that clears the status column and the glass edge, so every control is reachable unfolded. System Tune controls on iPhone open as sheets that never flicker while traces are live. Audio recovers from interruptions on its own. SPL Every card holds its peak per input until you reset it. Monitor cards size to the pane and rows stay inside it. ALSO The cursor readout draws above the trace legend. The Auto EQ drawer always lists the filters for the channel it names. Plugin bypass leaves the graph on both platforms. If your sign in expires, LiveSpec asks you to sign in again instead of reporting a missing subscription. A theme change recolors every meter glow at once.

LiveSpec 2.1 sharpens System Tune for real alignment work and tightens the details that matter. TRACE ALIGNMENT Pin one trace as the reference and align every other trace to it. Each delay now reads as the number to dial into that speaker, never below zero, with the distance in meters and feet beside it. Auto find only adds delay, the way a real system works, and a setting restores the symmetric search. DELAY FINDING The finder locks on the first arrival instead of the loudest reflection, so lively rooms settle faster. Input chips show each input's delay, sort shortest first, and report what the finder is doing while it searches. Track mode tracks when you switch to it mid run, Find Once and Lock lands in Manual, and an input you switch off and on again keeps the state you chose. KEYBOARD AND CHIPS Command D and Command L find or track delay on every input, Y and Command Y reset trace offsets, and Option Up and Down nudge a trace by a dB, on the Mac and on an iPad keyboard. Hover a chip on the Mac, or tap it on iPad, for levels, delay, and SPL at a glance. IMPULSE RESPONSE Traces sit on their measured arrival and the time axis reads absolute delay, with relative time still an option. The pane holds still when you stop. TARGETS AND GRID Targets sit at 0 dB on the relative axis, a 0 dB action sends the trace home on its mid band average, and custom targets open for editing in place. The 0 dB and 0 degree lines are bolder. SWEEPS Sweeps pre roll the generator and land on the reference timeline, so repeated sweeps agree on delay. SPL MONITOR Choose one to four monitor cards from the pane header. LOOK Spectrum is the default theme for new installs, and the unfolded iPhone Duo gets the iPad System Tune layout. ACCOUNT Sign in and subscription checks are hardened behind the scenes.

Fixed plugin host causing application instability in some setups

LiveSpec 2.0 is a big one. One plan now includes everything, and nearly every part of the app grew up. MEASURE EVERYTHING AT ONCE Every mic and line input is metered and analyzed together, with RTA traces overlaid in each input's color and SPL and dose per input. PLUGIN HOST Run your Audio Unit plugins in parallel chains with built in Balance, Glue, and Widen blocks, LUFS meters, delay alignment groups, and a chain library. Auto EQ now fits your stream toward a Mix Balance target while you mix, and Smart Listen waits for full mix passages before it decides. SETUP WIZARD Pick your interface, scan your channels live, load calibration files, and calibrate SPL with one tap. Measuring in about a minute. THE AURORA ENGINE A glowing spectrum ridge, a lit spectrograph relief, and 3D RTA terrain, with a glow control per device. Classic looks are still one tap away. MIX BALANCE FOH and Stream roles with derived stream targets, curve and absolute SPL modes, third octave grids, a target editor, and quick profile capture. SYSTEM TUNE A rebuilt Auto EQ engine that fits live on real outputs, console and processor hardware profiles, a 31 band graphic EQ mode, and a predicted trace that includes your EQ. Auto phase alignment searches smarter across the crossover and reads out delay in milliseconds, meters, and feet. Impulse response windows drag and re render the transfer function live. Room acoustics adds EDT, T20, T30, RT60, C50, C80, and STI per band, plus a live decay ribbon and comparison overlays. GENERATOR Play your own reference tracks as playlists through the measurement outputs, and build custom targets with tilt and tolerance zones. SPL AND DOSE Per input logging, glowing monitor tiles, a session browser, and dose controls right in the rail. SYNC AND BACKUP Optional iCloud sync across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac, plus a single file backup and restore. Plus keyboard shortcuts, a redesigned iPhone layout, and dozens of fixes from the field.

Per-trace SPL anchoring for System Tune, fixed averaged/summed traces at low frequencies, renamable measurement history, optional sign-in, plus stability fixes.
