The mCare Digital app opens a window into care needs of your loved ones and enables connection anytime, anywhere through the mCare Digital devices such as the mCareWatch mCareMate pendant. We call it worry-free caring as the app keeps you informed about the key aspects of someone’s health and wellbeing and facilitates that all important peace of mind. For the carers, such as the loved ones of ageing parents or individuals with disability, the mCare Digital app enables: • GPS location tracking displayed on an interactive map, including regular updates and on demand syncing in addition to keeping the history of movements • SOS emergency alerts that come through as a call. There are 6 emergency call contacts that can be programmed through the app and their order of activation for a call, amended at any time • Reminders that are programmable by carers and include reminders such as for medications, appointments or other activities (this being a fully customisable feature) • Geofence set up and notifications of geofence breaches; these being safe zones that can be customised around particular locations (a handy feature for dementia sufferers for example) • Alerts about low battery status • Welfare checks* that can be activated by the carer to the device to gauge how they are feeling • Non-movement alerts if the wearer hasn’t moved for a while • Fall detection and the subsequent SOS activation for help via a call to carers • Monitoring of step counts and setting daily step count goals • History of all events, including those captured through peripheral devices such as a blood pressure monitor or oximeter • Heart rate monitoring* Data privacy and security All data that’s transacted to and from the devices is encrypted and securely stored in Australia on enterprise-grade servers. Access to the app Only customers who have an active service plan (subscription) are able to download and access the features of this app. The registration process either takes place through self-registration, in which case you will need to prepare your service plan invoice/receipt number provided at the time of purchase. This option is only available for purchases of the mCareWatch online at this stage. Please ensure your mCareWatch is fully charged prior to resuming the self-registration process as pairing of the device forms part of the process. All other purchases include registration via the internal mCare Digital team, in which case you’ll be provided with your private login details at the time of receiving your device via mail.
