Pearnotes is for jotting things down by hand: quick handwritten notes, sketches, and PDF markup, with timers pinned to your menu bar. Open to Canvas Turn on Open to Canvas and Pearnotes opens directly to a new blank page when you launch it, so you can start writing right away without going through any menus. Built for Apple Pencil Write and sketch with Apple Pencil or your finger. Double-tap to switch between pen and eraser, squeeze to swap colors on Apple Pencil Pro, and adjust pen and eraser width to taste. Low-latency inking keeps up with your hand. PDF Markup Drop a PDF into a note and annotate it page by page. Sign, highlight, correct, or scribble in the margins, then share the flattened PDF or a PNG. Timers in the Menu Bar Set a countdown or schedule a reminder for a specific time, in any timezone, and pin it to your Mac menu bar so it stays visible all day. Schedule something for 3pm Tokyo time and the notification fires at the right moment wherever you are. Recurring D-Day Reminders Set repeating timers with D-Day tracking. See how many days until (or since) an event at a glance. Color-coded by proximity: red for today, orange for soon, blue for later. iCloud Sync Enable iCloud sync to keep notes and timers in sync across your Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
