We have added support for CMS 2024 coding data and calendar requests in the latest version of iPad. We have also fixed some bugs related to calendar handling and made improvements to DSM5 throughout, particularly for session reports. For Mac users, we have fixed a random crashing issue, and the keyboard commands and multiple window support are useful features in this environment.

Fully supports DSM5 diagnoses. Full coding information is available when working with DSM5. Conversion preview from DSM5 transition to DSM5. Enhances support for a hardware keyboard. Added support for changing the font size for text in the progress note, clinical note, and text template.   Also fixed issues: where the progress note did not adjust to the iPad dynamic font settings; the print controller did not show the page selection on iOS15.

Fixes to allow reverting data using a backup file and ensuring that scratch folders are always released after use. Will also release any old scratch folders while starting up. New features added in 1.8.1: • Tapping the URL in the calendar entries, will open PsychChart and show the event disposition in Recents, the session note in Sessions, or the client details in Client as appropriate. • The Recents tab will now allow access to session notes created the same day (regardless of the session date). Updated the diagnosis tables for the 2021 CMS ICD-10 coding.  Updated user interface to better support iOS14. Reworked the recent appointment interface. FaceID improvements and bug fixes. Updated the resources and included a feature/setup guide.

Bug fix: Updated an internal library.

This release adds multiple window support for iOS 13. It also adds state restoration. Fixes several bugs including: Some saved client documents would not open. Fixed a color issue in one of the editors.

Enhancements for the latest iOS including dark mode support and better iconography throughout. Display improvements and restored Favorite mode support. Streamlined and removed duplicates for ICD-10 diagnosis coding. Many minor bug fixes. Diagnosis codes are current for CMS 2020 coding.

Over 30 enhancements including: Built-in file import using the file browser, enhanced security, backup failsafe protection, better calendar appointment integration, better contact display including access to the client's contacts, many user interface improvements, removed duplicate diagnosis entries, and reports can now be generated for different paper sizes with improved formatting. Session reports will now print with your formatted progress notes. See Resources on the settings page to access the complete list of enhancements.

Fixed an issue setting session focus when there are only axis II diagnosis codes. Reduced memory usage for client document decryption. Enhanced document viewer support. This is the final planned update for devices running older versions of iOS. The next major update will require iOS 11 or later.

Fixes a problem where Axis IV of the diagnosis would sometimes not update.

Diagnosis tables fully updated for 2019. Fixed several issues: Display of the appointment disposition popover has been fixed and several improvements added. Problems where the screen was not automatically locking when the app went into the background have been fixed. Several minor display issues were fixed as well.

Improvements: Under the hood moderization of the code continues. Changes were made so that alerts and other messages are presented consistent (colors, etc.) but also important messages will be retained even after screen locks. Those messages will be presented again after authentication. All the reports have had their formatting tweaked in order to better present the underlying data. Minor tweaks to how data is shown. Especially contacts are now more consistently presented. Insert menu in the progress note can now support an unlimited number of Text Templates. (Previously only the first five were available.) Added an alert if PsychChart finds an incomplete backup at startup. This allows you to reset the backup system if it has failed for some reason. Bug fixes: The PsychChart email certificate was updated. All handling of session diagnosis focus has been reworked in order to always present correct ICD-9 or ICD-10 text and codes. Also, archived sessions now record the diagnosis format so archives can also be correctly reported. Fixed the reports to also always show the correct code as determined by diagnosis format and session date. Fixed a crash when archiving an inactive client that has previously archived sessions. Printing a report for a decrypted client, resulted in the full client name in the print logs. It will now use the client ID or blank for the print job name. Fixed an issue when setting new calendar parameters. The next major version will bump up the minimum iOS requirements and remove support for the older versions of iOS.

Requested feature added: It is now possible to set "Without charge" as the payment method with an optional comment. Minor enhancements to reports including some clarifications. Problems fixed: Choice lists would not always be available as they should; Axis IV of the diagnosis would not update; Resolved an issue with restoring archived reports.
