Rate QuietPlayer • You can now rate the app right from Settings — a quick, private way to support development. No tracking, no account required. Fixes • The intro walkthrough no longer reappears after erasing your library. It now shows only on a fresh install, as intended. • Minor stability and polish improvements.

• Backups got smarter: exports now warn you if any media or artwork couldn't be included, and each backup gets a unique filename so older exports aren't overwritten. • Restores are stricter about validating backup contents, and the results message now explains its numbers — clips share their source's media file, so a backup can contain fewer files than library items. • New "Missing" view in File Explorer finds library items whose media file no longer exists, so you can remove them or repair them by restoring an older backup. • Fixed cramped stat labels in File Explorer.

App preview updates

Minor updates.

Under-the-hood improvements to library performance and stability.

• AirPlay now flags photos/GIFs that can't show on TV, with one-tap Export as Video. • Truer colors in exported videos. • Fixed a Library layout glitch in Scroll mode.

• Cleaner, more scannable library and queue rows with clearer icons, durations, and tags. • Reworked queue toolbar with easier access to shuffle, reorder, and save. • Improved collection cards, menus, and background controls. • Various visual polish and bug fixes.

Export your playlists as video You can now turn any playlist into a single shareable video. QuietPlayer stitches your photos, videos, GIFs, and audio into one file — complete with workout interval rest screens and countdowns, and any narration overlays mixed right in. • Choose your resolution, and export in HEVC for smaller files. • Crops and zoom you've set on each item are preserved. • Save the finished video to your Library or to Photos. • Audio-only playlists export as an .m4a audio file. • A preflight screen estimates the space you'll need before you start, and long exports keep running with on-screen progress. Better on iPad Editors and the photo picker now open full screen on iPad instead of a small centered box — the clip creator, clip editor, A/B slice picker, thumbnail picker, and photo import all use the full display.

• Faster tagging — Edit tags straight from a row, the context menu, or a multi-select. Add existing tags or make new ones in one sheet. • New Collection from Home — Build a tag-based collection in a couple of taps. • Better queue button — Queuing now toggles in place and keeps the player open, with clearer queued-state icons. • Per-item actions — Dedicated Queue and Tags buttons on every item.

• Share more — you can now share any item in your library, not just clips. • Fixed a stuck "Loading" spinner and steadied the carousel timing so photos advance at a natural, even pace. • Easier PIN management — a redesigned Remove PIN flow lets you turn off your passcode using Face ID or your current PIN. • Polish — a smoother fade between the header image and your content as you scroll, plus clearer wording in Settings.

• New signature indigo accent color app-wide • Save clips to Photos and share them with a new Share Clip action • Picture in Picture fixes for photos: working play/pause, no flicker

• Audio Overlays now offer three sync modes — Free Running, Video Controls, and Audio Controls — so you control whether the video or the audio leads. • Choose what happens when the leading track ends: keep looping, or stop. • Tidied up the overlay editor.

• Clip editing is more reliable — the name field no longer gets blocked while zoomed in, and your zoom and edits stay put when you close the full-screen editor. • Clips now show their actual start frame (with your zoom crop) in playlist and queue thumbnails, so they're easier to tell apart at a glance. • Backups are more complete — exports and restores now include audio cover art and the Clips collection's background and cover image.
