At the request of our customers we have added the peer-to-peer verification for the tournaments created on the web and the app. This process is carried out on the app for the players and on the web for the tournament organiser. In order to have your score achieve the status of being VERIFIED BY PLAYERS, you need to CONFIRM and SIGN your score and another player in your 4-ball needs to SIGN AS MARKER. The signing of your scorecard follows the same procedure you would need to for a paper scorecard. Confirm all the players scores before starting the process to avoid any disputes. Should any other player in the 4-ball find an error in the scorecards, be that an honest mistake or a rules transgression, they should initiate the dispute score process. All our users will now build up a Competition Qualification Rating over time, which will be important for all club competitions and national competitions that ScoreCapture run. It is important to start getting your scores verified from day 1 and in order to achieve a better "CQR", you need to get different players to sign as marker as possible. If any scores were disputed in your 4-ball, this will count against you and lower your CQR, so please ensure that the final check of the scores is done before the sign scorecard process has started - not different to a paper scorecard signing process - just a lot easier!

Detailed “maximum score” calculations for o New world handicapping system – this uses NET DOUBLE BOGEY as the maximum score allowed per hole and is indicated in BLUE on the individual scorecard – this will be ScoreCaptures default calculation and when the “Pickup/Blowout” button is tapped on the scoring screen, your max score will be displayed as NET DOUBLE BOGEY o Golf RSA/HNA – for the moment, the max score allowed per hole is PAR + 2 for a course handicap of 18 or lower, or PAR + 1 + “handicap strokes on hole” for players with a course handicap of 19 or higher – this will be shown as GREEN on the individual scorecard o USGA equitable score adjustment, shown as ORANGE on the individual scorecard - Course handicap 9 or less max score = double bogey - Course handicap 10 -19 max score = 7 - Course handicap 20 - 29 max score = 8 - Course handicap 30 - 39 max score = 9 - Course handicap 40 + max score = 10 GPS o for some courses in SA, we have GPS co-ordinates to the centre of the green, this is shown on the scoring screen if GPS has been enabled by the tournament organiser and locations are turned on in your device settings – contact us with your course “centre of green” GPS co-ordinates and we will load them up for you Competition Scorecard has been revamped, to show on both portrait and landscape screens – the scorecard will default to the main competition type, but can be changed on the App to reveal any type of competition scorecard (all calculations in the ScoreCapture system) should that be required Search functionality has been added to viewing past and future games Cosmetic changes o setup new game has a friendlier better looking screen

New World Handicapping System Ready oPlayers now have a handicap index to 1 decimal point. We are linked to HNA (if you have an SAGA number) and your handicap index is updated on a daily basis. Those not affiliated, are able to change their handicap index or course handicap on the App. oThe App calculates your course handicap once you have chosen the tee you would like to play off, using your handicap index, the slope and course rating and course par oIt also calculates your max adjusted score per hole with a Pickup button for IPS rounds New game flow oCurrent games are shown on the main menu screen for an easier start oYou can now set up your game with 5 4-balls with the least amount of taps possible oChoose as many different LIVE leaderboards as you like from our extensive list. For example, individual, betterball, alliance, “Drop to Zero”, “Scratch”, “Net” and “Points”. New calculations are always being added oLink the game to your Society for the feature leaderboard calculations (Eclectics, Order of Merits and Rankings) and to reveal the game on your FREE Society website oAdd players with one tap. Players are now automatically filtered by your recent partners, your Society and then your Club members.
