The mobile application "TELJAN" helps you to learn English on the basis of Kazakh at an in-depth level, including using the spelling of Kazakh words in Latin, since in Kazakhstan the transition of the Kazakh alphabet from Cyrillic to Latin will take place.
The interface is designed in the following languages: English, Kazakh (Latin and Cyrillic).
The application includes the following functions:
- A random word card generator from the dictionary (there is a button to view the definition of a word);
- Translator from Cyrillic to Latin Kazakh (there are buttons to copy translation, delete text);
- Dictionary divided into categories: "Cognates" (words that sound the same in different languages), "Untranslatable Kazakh words", "Untranslatable English words", "Phraseological units, idioms", "Modern/New Kazakh words";
- Latin Kazakh alphabet (when you click on a letter, an example of a word with this letter comes out);
- App’s info.
