Enjoy the capabilities of our VisionWorks® Touch software on your smartphone by using our new VisionWorks® App.
Our new VisionWorks® App is a powerful and user-friendly software that allows the capture and analysis of gel and colony samples through your phone while having full control of the UVP Gel Compact darkroom.
You can use your own phone’s camera app to capture an image and then analyze in Visionworks®, or you can use the Visionworks® app to both automatically capture and analyze the image in one simplified workflow.
If the VisionWorks® App is used to analyze the image/sample, cloud analysis will be enabled for 1D lanes and bands auto detection, molecular weight calibration, area density analysis, colony counting, and colony classification. The results report will be available for review in the VisionWorks® App and can be shared via email for your convenience.
However, if you desire to analyze the image using our computer-based VisionWorks® Touch software, you will only need to export the JPEG image to the computer. Images taken with your phone through the VisionWorks® App, will be stored in JPEG format in the phone gallery.
The app and system can be used for the following applications among many others: Colony Counting, DNA (EtBr, GelGreen, GelRed, SYBR Safe, etc.), and protein gel (Stain free gel, Coomassie blue gel, silver stain, etc.) capture and analysis.
All of these features, make the VisionWorks® App and UVP Gel Compact, the perfect match for all of your needs.
