Winder syncs to public NTP atomic time servers and shows you time you can trust, accurate to the millisecond. Open the app, read the time, set your watch. That's it.

WHAT YOU GET
Atomic time synchronization via NTP (NIST, PTB). The drift strip at the top of the screen shows your device's exact offset from atomic time. No guessing, no rounding.
A continuous-sweep second hand that glides like a Spring Drive. Analog face, digital display, or both. Dauphine hands with a center ridge that catches light. Four bundled typefaces. Optional countdown sound cues (mechanical or electronic) so you can set your crown without watching the screen.
12 dial themes drawn from real watch materials: meteorite with Widmanstätten crystal lines, aventurine glass with 1,375 shimmering inclusions, sunburst rays with a rotating specular beam, tapisserie grids, black ceramic waves, and more. Every surface animates. Light sweeps slowly across crystal boundaries. Inclusions catch and release a migrating glow. Specular beams rotate over hours. These are not wallpapers. They are living dial surfaces.
Three themes are free. Winder Pro unlocks the full collection with a single purchase. No subscription.
PRIVACY
Winder collects no data. No accounts. No analytics. No tracking. No crash reporting. Your preferences stay on your device. The only network request is the NTP time sync. That's the entire privacy policy.

Daily quote: A subtle line under the NTP drift strip opens into a glass card with curated quotes about time and watchmaking. It advances each calendar day and follows your dial theme (including Meteorite Light).
Your control: Turn the daily quote on or off in Settings → Display.
Craft & clarity: Quote typography uses Cormorant Garamond; light haptics on expand/collapse when haptics are enabled; respects Reduce Motion.
Privacy: Quotes are bundled with the app, no server fetch for this feature.
