In this version, we've fixed a bug in Portuguese layout (Lesson 5) and added «Internet Access Policy» for Little Snitch app.

We made hands hints less transparent to improve visibility. Minor bug fixes.

Added full compatibility with macOS Mojave dark theme, and made some minor adjustments to the UI. Added lessons in the Mongolian language.

In this version we’ve added lessons in Portuguese (Brazilian), corrected a couple of mistakes in layouts and integrated a profanity filter. • Lessons in Portuguese There are four keyboard layouts in Portuguese language: Brazilian, Brazilian — ABNT2, Brazilian — Pro and Portuguese. • Profanity filter for English When making a lesson, we use words from modern literature. Apparently, some swear words and obscene expressions made their way into there. That’s why we’ve built-in a filter to get rid of such language. • Improved Italian localisation In the previous update we added localisation for Italian language. There seem to have been some translation inaccuracies. Now corrected. • Error correction in Colemak layout The “colon” symbol has been moved to its correct keyboard shortcut "Shift+;" from "Shift+O" where it used to be. • Error correction in French: letter "ê" With some users, an error occurred when typing the letter "ê". We’ve finally managed to locate this bug and fixed it. • A really rare iCloud sync crash has been fixed. • The app icon has been slightly improved on together with some minor adjustments to the UI. In this version we’ve added lessons in Greek and Turkish languages, improved on the Spanish ones and refined the heatmap. • Turkish and Greek lessons There are two keyboard layouts in Turkish: «Turkish Q» and «Turkish F». In Greek it’s the classic «Greek» one. If you’d like to see some other keyboards for these languages — feel free to contact us. • Typos highlighted in the text line, including the erased ones Now the erased mistakes can be seen while typing not only on the heatmap but also in the text line itself. • No more English words in Spanish lessons Some English words slipped into the Spanish lessons by mistake. We’ve manually revised all the original texts to prevent this from happening again. • «Typewriter» layout added to the lessons in Russian While in «ЙЦУКЕН PC» and «ЙЦУКЕН Mac» you need to press «Shift + number» to type symbols, in «Typewriter» layout it’s the exact opposite. That is, the numbers row is inverted. Also, in this layout, letter «ё» is in the bottom row, next to the Shift key. In this version we’ve added statistics and settings synchronization with iCloud, alternative keyboard layouts for French and English languages as well as ability to sort statistics by keyboard layout. • iCloud sync Now you can start studying on one computer and continue on another one. Just make sure both systems are logged into the same iCloud account. No need to set anything up, it’s all done automatically. • Statistics sorted by keyboard layout Statistics can now be sorted not only by languages but also by layouts for each language. That is to say, lesson stats in layouts like QWERTY and COLEMAK don’t get mixed together anymore. • BÉPO layout for French language Second most popular layout after AZERTY in French-speaking countries, it is basically DVORAK adapted to French language. Popular with programmers. • QWERTZ Swiss layout for French and English languages Now there are versions of QWERTZ Swiss layout in French, English and German. Special thanks to Daniele Poggiali from Switzerland for helping us figure out the QWERTZ Swiss particularities for each of the languages. • Disable the onscreen keyboard prompts Now you can disable the onscreen keyboard prompts. That would help not get distracted by the keyboard once you’ve completely remembered where each key is. • Mini statistics on home screen Mini statistics shows the change in your speed and in your typo count compared to the previous attempt. What’s new in ver. 2.6: - Punctuation marks ¡! and ¿? in Spanish lessons are now displayed at the beginning and at the end of words and sentences. ¡Finalmente!; - The heat map of errors is displayed on the keyboard after every set. First-in-this-year update changed a font of the training string. Now the letters "a" and "o" are easily distinguishable. Also, we added lessons for German users. Now you can learn touch typing using German letter combinations and words. Kindly apologize for the QWERTZ layout bug which caused quiting the app after pressing the apostrophe key.
