Thanks everyone! Quick fixes to improve background battery usage and other improvements

THANKS EVERYONE! UPDATE: Better Preset Sync. And Import now works on Mac. However, you don't even need to import your banks into the Mac version. It will happen automatically if you do this: "Preset Sync" must be turned on separately on each device in the About page (the button in upper right of app header) Open the standalone app on your iPad and turn on the Preset Sync button. Choose Enable Sync when prompted. Repeat these steps in the standalone app on your Mac. Both devices must use the same iCloud account. Leave both apps open while your presets sync automatically. To check sync status or manually refresh, tap the ⓘ beside the preset-sync control and choose Sync Now. Plus all 1.3 updates: MASSIVE UPDATE! SUPER 606 is expanding to Mac, adding major accessibility features, preset syncing, and a whole lot more. • NEW NATIVE MAC VERSION! SUPER 606 is now available on Mac, with native support for both Apple Silicon AND Intel Macs, plus AUv3. The app has been tested in Mac on Ableton, GarageBand, and Logic so far. • ACCESSIBILITY! Major accessibility improvements and Voice Over have been added throughout the app to make SUPER 606 a much more enjoyable instrument for blind and visually impaired musicians. • PRESET SYNC! Your presets can now automatically sync between iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Create a sound on one device and continue working with it on another. Turn on Preset Sync in the Settings panel by tapping the [i] button. • Pattern Drag and Drop to MIDI. Drag from the pattern buttons on bottom into your DAW or other file system. Comes in handy in Logic on iPad. Just drag your MIDI right into Logic for iPad. It's also cool on Ableton for mac. Plus, drag the Sequence Name on bottom to drag the entire sequence into your DAW or file system, all patterns with one easy step. • Drag and drop MIDI input. Drop MIDI on the sequencer page and it will import your MIDI into the sequencer! Note: Ableton clips do not allow drag and drop into AUv3. • Added TR-8 and TR-6 MIDI Maps, control Mac & iOS versions with your TR-8 or TR-6. Makes perfect controller! * No official affiliation • Automation now records correctly in GarageBand and similar AUv3 hosts NOTE: Name has been changed from "606 Drums" to "Super 606" in AUv3 and Standalone

This is our first Mac app, so please be patient with us as we work through any early issues. If you find a bug, we'd genuinely love to hear about it: matthew@audiokitpro.com • PRESET SYNC! THANKS EVERYONE! MASSIVE FREE UPDATE: HI-HAT BONANZA! • LINK YOUR HATS: You can now link the Open and Closed Hi-Hats so Tune, Pan, Volume, and other settings stay matched. Find the new options by tapping the HAT header with the down arrow in the Tuner or Mixer panels. • NEW T-06 HI-HATS: A new hi-hat model inspired by a vintage 1981 unit. They have their own character, use even less CPU, and the synthesis code is open source too! • METRONOME?! Yes! SUPER 606 now includes an optional metronome for Drum Pad recording in standalone mode. Turn it on in Standalone Options and choose from three different metronome sounds. The original hardware didn't have a metronome, but some of you really love metronomes, so here it is! When using SUPER 606 as an AUv3, simply use your host's metronome. • MIDI TRANSPORT RECEIVE: Standalone can now receive MIDI Start/Stop. Turn it on to start, stop, and sync SUPER 606 with your other MIDI gear. MIDI Note transport start/stop still works as well in AUv3 and standalone. This is to receive a pure MIDI transport signal that some gear sends. • MIDI OUT LOCK: MIDI Out settings are saved with each preset. Want to keep the same MIDI Out setup while browsing sounds? Tap the new Lock toggle and your MIDI Out choices will stay put. • AUv3 IMPROVEMENTS: The bottom Sequence Picker is now visible on iPad even when you're not using the two-panel layout, and more. • MAJOR DSP OPTIMIZATIONS: We've been digging deep into the drum synthesis code. • Up to 3x CPU performance improvement on some presets • T-06 Hi-Hats can save even more CPU compared with the original hat model • More DSP optimizations are already in progress, stay tuned! MORE OPEN-SOURCE DSP! The optimized Clap and Hi-Hat synthesis code, with roughly 2.5x to 3x performance improvements, has been added to the SUPER 606 open-source library. You're free to use the synth DSP from this app in your own projects: https://github.com/analogcode/606-Inspired-Synth-Drums And, as always, lots more fixes, tweaks, and improvements throughout! MORE COMING SOON!

• NEW: MIDI Out. SUPER 606 can now send its patterns, drum pads, or its individual drum hits to your DAW or anything that can receive MIDI! • FIXED: AUv3 state now saves and restores correctly in GarageBand and Logic Pro • FIXED: The first beat no longer drops in GarageBand when Count-In is on. • MIDI Out has three modes. Set it on the About page. The MIDI Out setting is saved with each preset and with the AUv3 state. 1. "Drum Notes" MIDI Out Sends every drum hit as a MIDI note. Note: if your DAW plays those notes back into SUPER 606 while its internal pattern is also running, you will hear doubled hits. To avoid that, do one of the following: • Loop SUPER 606 on an empty pattern • Send note #33 (A0), Transport Stop, before the DAW plays its notes, so the internal pattern stays stopped • Use Pattern MIDI Out instead 2. "Pattern Changes" MIDI Out The most authentic groove: SUPER 606 plays its own patterns and your DAW triggers the pattern changes. That way, the internal groove engine can do its thing and you keep more of that little timing magic and mojo. Pattern changes: notes 24–31 (C0–G0) Modes 1 & 2 both send Drum Pad MIDI as well. 3. MIDI Out Off: both buttons toggled off. --- GARAGEBAND for iOS GarageBand records MIDI Out with no extra setup. Plus you can easily turn that MIDI into audio inside GarageBand, choose "Merge" on the 606 track. LOGIC PRO for iPad Logic records a plug-in's MIDI onto a second track, not the 606 track. Add a second software instrument track and select it. Open the Inspector (second icon at the bottom left, two stacked horizontal faders). Set "Internal MIDI In" to "Instrument Output" and choose 606 Drums. Set Record to Internal MIDI In. Record-enable the second track and press Record. Not a Logic power user? It is often easier to export MIDI or Audio with one tap in the app: use the Share icon at the top, second from the right. And remember to avoid double hits.

THANKS EVERYONE, This app will keep getting better! • NEW: Preset Bank by Bri Kup • UI: Improved contrast between ON/OFF toggles for Reverb, Delay, etc • FIXED: Plot display could freeze in AUM • SEQUENCER: You can now press and drag across a row to quickly change multiple steps. If the first step you touch is OFF, dragging turns steps OFF. If it’s ON, dragging turns them ON. GUESS WHAT? MIDI OUT is coming soon! PRO TIP: For the most authentic groove, use the patterns inside the app and trigger pattern changes and transport with MIDI, rather than driving every drum hit with individual MIDI notes. Pattern changes start at MIDI note #24 (C0–G0), with Start/Stop on G#0 and A0. You can also assign MIDI CCs to pattern changes and transport Start/Stop! That way, the internal groove engine can do its thing and you keep more of that little timing magic and mojo.

THANKS EVERYONE! • Adds Sequencer "Undo" button. You can undo magic patterns, fills, copy/paste, etc • Additional updates & fixes

• Even More Authentic! Added Accent B, just like the classic hardware. Fun fact: those vintage drum machines actually had four volume levels. Accent B combines Track Accent + Beat Accent for the loudest hit. • Other improvements and fixes

Since the original 606 never had a clap, the clap code is modeled after the Analog RD-6**. Yes, a synth clone modeled after a synth clone. Clone inception unlocked. Cloneception? Full source code for the clap is online. Easter Egg: Tap on the ''Show Clap Noise' on the "Bonus" section of Settings panel (Gear icon in upper right). You'll get an extra knob to change the clap noise ratio. New knob will appear in Snare section on tuning panel. #CircuitBent606 ** RD-6, etc are trademarks or registered trademarks of Behringer.
