Earwake 2.0 — a pro upgrade for your name & sound alarm, still 100% on-device. • Sound triggers: wake on a baby cry, knock, doorbell, dog, smoke alarm, and more — each with its own sensitivity. • Wake styles: gentle fade-in, steady, or escalating, with heartbeat / SOS / pulse vibration patterns. • More alert channels: a full-screen strobe and a rear-torch blink. • Dismiss Guard: require a tap-count or math challenge so a sleepy hand can't silence it. • Backstop alarm: a guaranteed buzz at the end of your window, even if nothing was heard. • Insights: streaks, average wake time, clarity rate, and a per-hour histogram. Your audio is analyzed entirely on your phone — nothing is ever uploaded.

Earwake now does more than listen for your bare name. Add wake phrases like "wake up Robert" or "good morning Robert" — multi-word triggers that only fire on the full, deliberate call, so a passing mention of your name overnight won't wake you. Tap any tip to expand the full explanation and source. No network required. Nap Calculator — Choose 10, 20, or 90 minutes; enter your nap start time; get the exact wake-up time plus a science note on each duration. A late-nap warning fires if you're napping after 3 PM — the threshold where adenosine reduction starts to affect that night's sleep. Sleep Calculator → Alarm integration — In the Sleep Calculator's "Find Wake Time" mode, each suggestion now shows a "Set as alarm window start" button. Tap it and your alarm window is updated immediately — no manual re-entry needed. Sleep Tools hub — Settings now groups Sleep Calculator, Nap Calculator, and Sleep Tips under one "Sleep Tools" section for easier access.

Multiple names — Add up to 5 names in Set Up. Earwake checks each one independently, so it wakes you when a partner calls your name, a family member's, or any name on your list. Sleep Cycle Calculator — A new offline tool in Settings. Enter your target wake time and see ideal bedtimes for 4, 5, and 6 complete sleep cycles (based on the 90-minute cycle + 14-minute onset allowance). Or flip it: enter your bedtime and see optimal wake times. Matching Sensitivity — A new control in Set Up lets you choose how strictly names are matched: Strict (near-exact), Balanced (the default, recommended for most names), or Relaxed (catches slurred or muffled speech for long names). History is now expanded to 50 events and has a CSV export button — tap the share icon in the History tab to export your wake log to Numbers, Mail, or Files. Version number in Settings now reads from the app bundle instead of being hardcoded.
