HUGE new update that takes Anecnote beyond the main app!! # Apple Watch app Added an Apple Watch companion app for quickly browsing Anecnote notes from your wrist. - View notes from selectable Standard Views and Smart Views, including filtered lists such as Starred and Action Required. - Open notes on Apple Watch to read the full saved content and key note details. - Syncs lightweight note snapshots from the paired iPhone using WatchConnectivity. - Caches the latest synced notes on Apple Watch, so recently synced content remains available even when the phone is temporarily unreachable. # Share Sheet extension Added a Share Sheet extension so text and web pages can be saved directly to Anecnote from other apps. - Shared web pages can auto-fill the source URL and page title. - Added optional article capture from shared web pages, with plain text or Markdown output (only works on pages where a properly structured article is present). - Share Sheet notes can be edited before saving, including title, content, source, category, area, tags, starred, and action required. - Tag entry supports search, matching existing tags, and creating new tags. - Share Sheet metadata respects custom labels, categories, and areas where available. # Widgets Added a configurable Smart View widget, letting you choose a saved Smart View or Standard View such as All notes, Starred items, Todos, Recently added, or Recently modified. - Added a compact Smart View widget variant for showing more notes at a glance. - Added an Add Note widget that opens Anecnote directly into note creation. - Widget note rows can open the individual note in Anecnote. - Widget headers and “+ more” links open the specific Smart View shown in the widget. - Widgets show useful note metadata, including starred and action-required indicators. NEW: Share the content (and metadata) of any Anecnote note with other apps by utilising the new 'Send to Conduit' action (in the Export options within any note's detail view). Conduit is a completely free, on-device, private app for facilitating the sharing of data between apps that offer url-schemes. New features: - Adapted the Tag/People/Category/Area management screens to allow for editing of values. Just tap on any value to bring up an edit field. Changes made will update Notes and Saved views that used the old values. Improvements: - Deleting of Tag/People/Category/Area items in the management screens has moved to swipe left functionality. A deletion will now remove it as criteria from any Saved Views that used it. - Early sync issues have been resolved so have hidden the Collect Sync debug information button in Settings (can be restored to view if required with a triple tap on the iCloud sync is enabled label). ---- Thanks for trying out Anecnote! Bug fix - Crash when exporting a note to markdown on iPad Syncing improvements - Adjustments to the syncing mechanism - Addition of option to generate a sync debug log Apologies if you have experienced any issues syncing notes between devices. We are working hard to get these fixed. If you still experience issues after updating all of your devices to this latest version then please click on the 'Collect Sync Debug Info' button (at the bottom of the Settings screen) and save the generated file to your device.
