BRAW Toolbox allows you to import Blackmagic RAW files directly into Final Cut Pro without transcoding. You can even import Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive clips as 16320x7200 side-by-side! No more waiting. No more transcoding. No more massive ProRes files. Save hours of time, and terabytes of storage! It also now ships with a Media Extension allowing you to read Blackmagic RAW files directly within QuickTime Player, Final Cut Pro and other applications that support macOS Media Extensions. The BRAW Toolbox Workflow Extension allows you to prepare all of your footage prior to import. You can easily and quickly change all the RAW parameters, and copy and paste settings from different BRAW clips. You can even save and restore Presets that contain specific parameters, saving time for example, if you always use the same Gamut & Gamma. Once imported into Final Cut Pro, you can still modify the RAW parameters at any time. You can even keyframe the ISO, Exposure, Color Temp, Tint and Custom Gamma Controls! BRAW Toolbox comes with a Metadata View that allows you to view every piece of BRAW Metadata directly within the Final Cut Pro Inspector. There are automatic Decode Quality options for both HD and UltraHD projects, and you can also work at a low Decode Quality, then apply a "Global Setting" to force Full Quality prior to exporting - meaning you never have to worry about creating proxies for performance. BRAW Toolbox gives you complete freedom and flexibility. You can also use the Workflow Extension to send your project/timeline to DaVinci Resolve for grading - all using BRAW files directly from the camera! BRAW Toolbox requires Final Cut Pro v10.6.5 or later. It works great on the latest Final Cut Pro v12.2 release. Whilst it works on Intel, we strongly recommend Apple Silicon Mac's. The BRAW Toolbox icon was designed by the amazing Matthew Skiles. The incredible surf footage (as seen in the above screenshots) was captured by Sydney based Director/Cinematographer, Adrian Emerton. 不是吧阿sir名字这么难取的🐎
Braw可以不被转码而直接导入FCP，但性能相比davinici原生还是要差很多，4K 60FPS，在RX6900XT这样的显卡上不能留长回放，达芬奇可以，Braw SDK是不是都存在这个问题？

Both BRAW Toolbox and DaVinci Resolve use the official Blackmagic's RAW SDK, so the actual debayering and colour science technology is exactly the same. However, to make BRAW Toolbox work, we're using the FxPlug4 - which was never designed to be a "video codec" framework - it's designed for effects. During playback in DaVinci Resolve, it knows that you'll most likely want to view the next frame once the current frame is rendered, so whilst it's reading one frame, it could be decoding another, and processing another - it's also highly optimised to support all the CPU and GPU resources your system has available. BRAW Toolbox on the other hand, only processes only frame at once - because that's all FxPlug4 tells us. However, the idea with BRAW Toolbox is that you can edit with "automatic" debayering, and then you can "force" it to full quality when you do your final export.We're also constantly trying to find ways and tricks of improving performance, and are chatting with both Apple and Blackmagic to try and gain insights into how we can make it as fast as possible. There are definitely further performance improvements we can make - it's just all very tricky, because we're making FxPlug4 do something it was never really designed to do.BRAW Toolbox will never be as fast or performant as DaVinci Resolve, and it doesn't seem likely that Apple will add native BRAW support anytime soon, so for now, BRAW Toolbox is the only way to import BRAW files directly into Final Cut Pro, without processing.
