With Cryptic Send, you can send messages directly from your iMessage without worrying about compromising your sensitive information from anyone who get access to your physical devices, your phone in this case. You can take these few easy steps to get started with the app and send/receive encrypted messages. Both the encryption and deception is processed on your device so you don't have to worry about your message getting stored on a server somewhere too!
If you are the sender
• Establish a secure code with the person receiving your message ( you should change it often for more security if needed )
• Open your iMessage app, choose your contact, tap the + icon and find cryptic on the list of apps you have installed
• Enter your message, private secret key and just tap send ( make sure you don't double encrypt by tapping send multiple times )
If you are the receiver
• Open the message you received from the sender
• Press and hold to copy the encrypted message, tap the + icon and find cryptic on the list of apps you have installed
• Paste the encrypted message, enter the same key used to encrypt the message and tap on receive
