Chapter 3 is the third chapter in The Forgotten Nightmare text adventure game series. In Chapter 1, you awaken after an accident with amnesia, hanging upside-down by your seatbelt. After escaping the destroyed van you explore a desolate small town that has experienced a series of strange disappearances. Encountering two inhabitants, the three of you flee to a nearby town. In Chapter two, your two new friends are arrested for unknown reasons and you focus on exploring this new town and free your companions. After a massive earthquake strikes, you gain a fourth companion. But where will the four of you go? Elsewhere in the world, chaos reigns as natural disasters, wars, and plagues increase exponentially. Markus Bernhoft takes the stage to lead a changing world that must band together to face its new challenges.
Chapter 3 begins with the aftermath of a massive earthquake that causes a serious injury to one of your three companions. You face the challenge of not only helping yourself but your companions as well. However, escaping this new small town may prove more difficult than you expect.
