Whitey is a minimalist calculator, designed to provide the fastest way to calculate on macOS. When you need to calculate something, simply hit the global shortcut (Control + C by default) to bring Whitey to the front and start typing. A clean, subtle text‑editor–like interface. You can type equations just like ordinary text, allowing you to edit, select, and copy‑paste them. Traditional calculators force you to stretch for awkward key combinations like Shift + 8 for multiplication or Shift + = for addition. Whitey maps common math operators to single keystrokes located conveniently under your hand (for example, press P for multiplication). Always on Top: Tap T to pin the window. Perfect for transcribing data from spreadsheets or websites without the window disappearing. Press C to clear, or Cmd + C to copy the answer. Press B to put the selected text in brackets.
