Home Screen Widget A new widget for your Home Screen, more control over where things go, and safer restores: - Page Widget - pick any page and see its title and content at a glance, right on your Home Screen. Tap to open it; - Quick Page Placement - in Settings, choose whether a new quick page lands at the top or bottom of Home; - Moving Blocks - moving blocks into a long page now asks whether to place them at the top or bottom; - Safer Restore - a backup of your current notes is saved first. After restoring, Unit recommends the more recent copy of your notes and shows the dates; - Improved sync stability; - Fixed an issue where the sketch palette could disappear after returning to the app.

We made Unit better on iPad, along with sketch improvements and fixes: - Easier Reading on iPad - notes now sit in a comfortable width instead of stretching across the whole screen; - Drag & Drop on iPad - drag a photo, file, or link from another app and drop it straight into your page - it lands right where you drop it; - Sketch Canvas - your drawing opens centered, and the canvas grows as you draw past the edge; - Link Pop-up Removed - we removed the pop-up that appeared when you copied a link. You can still add a link any time from the + menu; - Fixed an issue where the app could crash on iPad when turning on iCloud sync, signing in, or adding a location; - Fixed an issue where the sketch tools sometimes didn't appear; - Fixed an issue where notifications and the Get Plus screen didn't line up with your content on iPad; - Also in this update: various stability fixes.

Scan & Sketch Two new blocks for your pages: - Document Scanner - scan paper documents with your camera: multiple pages, automatic edge detection, retake or delete pages, and everything lands in your page as one compact PDF; - Sketch - draw right inside your notes with your finger or Apple Pencil. The full native tool palette (pen, pencil, marker, eraser, colors), undo/redo, and an endless scrolling canvas. Sketches adapt to light and dark themes, sync across your devices, and stay editable forever - reopen any sketch and keep drawing; - Also in this update: sync reliability improvements, smoother block interactions, and other fixes.

Faster iCloud Sync & iOS 26 Refinements Faster and clearer iCloud sync, a refined iOS 26 design, and stability fixes: - Faster iCloud Sync - your pages and structure appear right away while files download in the background, so you can keep working during a big sync; - Live Sync Progress - a new sync indicator on the Home screen shows progress as it happens, so you always know what's going on; - Truthful Sync Status - now shows "Not connected" when you're offline instead of a misleading "Synced", and the screen stays awake during a sync; - Refined iOS 26 Design - polished large title, floating toolbars, and scroll-edge effects tuned for iOS 26; - Cleaner Lists - numbered lists now use a clean monospaced style, and bullets, numbers, and toggles line up consistently; - Fixed an issue where the screen jumped and the cursor didn't activate when adding a new block from the top of a page; - Fixed an issue where the selection highlight glitched near the top and bottom bars; - Fixed a couple of crashes and polished several small details.

iCloud Sync & Lifetime Plan This release completes Unit's move from our Unit Cloud servers to iCloud sync - your notes now live entirely on your device and in your private iCloud, never touching our infrastructure. The legacy Unit Cloud will remain available for a limited time so you can import existing data, then it will be retired. This update includes: - iCloud Sync - Your notes now sync seamlessly across all your Apple devices through iCloud. Open Unit on iPhone or iPad and pick up exactly where you left off; - Lifetime Plan - Pay once, own Unit Plus forever. A new pricing option alongside Monthly and Annual subscriptions; - Automatic Backups - Unit now automatically saves recent copies of all your notes and files right on your device, so you can roll back to an earlier version any time from the new Backups section in Settings.
