Fixed a sign-up issue affecting new user account creation.

This release streamlines the manner in which subscriptions are activated for new device owners. From now on, if you purchase Core Premium, your prepaid subscription will be activated when you first connect to your Core device (instead of having to enter an activation code.) A few small changes and fixes are also included in this version: • Fixed some issues with the display of the popup guide to interpreting your biometric results after your first meditation. • Added a prompt to encourage users who recently joined a group to share their post-meditation results with the rest of the group. • Added some convenient quick links for new users who are meditating without a device to check out the Core hardware.

Introducing Core Groups We're excited to announce Groups, a new feature that lets you make your friends and family an integral part of your Core meditation practice. Create a group with your spouse, workout buddy, yoga friend, Mom, triathlon training crew, or that one coworker who needs some Zen to get the week started. - Create a weekly schedule to help each other stay consistent, or get motivated by recommending your favorite classes to the rest of the group. - See your group’s recent activity, and track your total meditation minutes towards major milestones together. - After a session, share your results and your reflection with the rest of the group to let them see how you did.

You might notice a few small fixes included in this release: - Fixed an issue that was causing multi-day streaks to sometimes end early when they shouldn’t. This fix will be applied retroactively to your meditation history. - Added a small “edit” button to the Profile portrait, so it’s more obvious how to update it. - Your Profile portrait will now display your initials by default, if you haven’t uploaded an image. - We updated our iOS SDK to 16.1.

This release is mostly focused on under-the-hood functionality to support some exciting upcoming features, but we’ve also made some small changes and fixes that improve the Core experience: * Technique and topic tags are now interactive. Tap one to navigate to a full list of all the meditations in our library that share the same tag. * Fixed some issue with the way subcategory links were being displayed in the “Explore” tab. * Added some flexibility to the range of meditations that can be displayed in the “For You” tab. Happy meditating!

Happy 2023! This is the first release of the new year, and we’re kicking things off with some modest improvements to the way that meditation content is displayed in the app. * We’ve added more flexibility to the display of meditations in the “Explore” tab. These changes will make it easier for us to automatically highlight the most recent tracks that have been released around certain topics and techniques, so it’s easier for you to find what you’re interested in. * Guided meditations will now indicate what language they are narrated in. The majority of our content is in English, but we are steadily adding more Spanish-language tracks, and you can now browse the entire meditation library by language. * We’ve relocated the request for notification permissions, so it’s more easily visible to all our new users.

Happy holidays from Core! Just in time for the holiday season, we’ve made a few fixes and improvements to the app for you: * We fixed an issue where some meditations weren’t showing their topic tags. * We’ve relocated the request for Bluetooth permissions to a more sensible spot in the onboarding flow. * We made some adjustments to the way the app asks for notification permissions, so it’s a more seamless experience. * Behind the scenes, we’re continuing to lay the groundwork for some exciting new features that will be released in the new year.

We've expanded Core's integration with Apple Health to allow sharing of more biometric data, giving you richer insights and allowing Core to personalize your meditation results more accurately. Now when you connect Core with Apple Health, you'll be able to log Mindful Minutes, heart rate, and HRV data to the Health app. In addition, we've made a few small fixes and improvements: - We fixed an issue where users weren't able to change their primary goal to "other/no goal" in the Profile. - We added some missing text to the post-meditation results view. - We adjusted the behavior of some of the "back" buttons during onboarding, for better consistency.

In this release, we’ve laid the groundwork for some exciting new features that will be coming a little further on — the changes won’t be visible to you yet. In addition to that work, though, we’ve also made some improvements you might notice: - The primary navigation of the app has some snazzy new icons. - We’ve tried to make it easier to read the text when you’re browsing the information about a meditation. - The cards in the details and settings of each meditation have been cleaned up a bit so they’re easier to read, too. - The instructor information card in the details of each meditation should now always reliably navigate you to that instructor’s page. - We’ve improved the way that we handle the caching of audio, so the app should take up less space on your phone overall.

You’ll find a couple new soundscapes available in the “Sound & Music” section of the meditation library. “Forest Brook” provides ambient outdoor vibes for purists who want to experience the sounds of nature without any accompanying music at all. “Celestial” is a minimalist binaural soundscape, designed to deepen your meditation experience without distraction. We adjusted the amount of battery that the Core needs in order to begin a firmware update, or to start a meditation. We don’t want people to lose their meditation results because they ran out of battery during a session, but we also don’t want to annoy them by asking them to charge their Core too often — and we think we’ve found a good balance now. It wasn’t always clear to new users why we initially ask for their phone number, or require them to create a Core account. We always want to be as transparent as possible, so we made some small changes to the text on our login screens to clarify how we’re using this information. We also fixed a few bugs in this release: • We fixed an issue where the “Introduction” series of meditations was appearing in the “For You” for some users when it shouldn’t be. • We fixed some broken links in the Profile. A few of our support articles got moved around recently, so we updated the links in the app to correctly point to the new locations.

We've made some changes to the “Explore” section of the app, making it easier for you to find the most recent meditation sessions you're interested in. New quick links on the “For You” tab let you browse the latest classes that match your current mood, align with your training goals, or are just right for the amount of time you want to spend meditating. Starting in this release, the Breath Training technique "Whiskey" will now be known as "Honey." Don't worry, it's still the same breathing and vibration pattern as before -- just with a new name! A few other small fixes and improvements are also included: - Fixed a bug where the "Guided voice" was displays as "Male" incorrectly in some cases. - Made a couple changes to the UI that allows you to enter an organization ID, including enabling the "Save" button and better handling of text casing. - Made an optimization that reduces the time the app takes to launch. Happy meditating!

This release includes a few small improvements to the post-meditation experience and the display of meditation content in our library. - We made it a bit easier to write Reflections, and fixed some bugs with the way your entries are displayed in the post-meditation view. - Users who are part of a company that has partnered with Core can now enter their organization ID via the Profile tab, to gain access to unique meditation content. - Made some fixes to the layout of content carousels for tablets and larger screens. - Fixed an issue with the display of the “Guided Voice” type in the meditation settings.

We've added a new Device-Free Mode to the app that allows you to meditate when you don't your Core handy, when you forgot to charge its battery, or in cases where you want to keep your hands free — to try other forms of meditation that incorporate stretching or movement, for example. Switch to Device-Free Mode by navigating to "Your Core" in the Profile tab. While this mode is enabled, you'll be able to play the audio of any meditation by simply tapping the screen, without having to pick up your Core device. You can also turn this mode on from the settings drawer at the bottom of any meditation track you're about to start. When you complete a meditation in Device-Free Mode, you won't receive any biometric results, but the session will still be recorded in your History, and will count towards your total meditation hours and any streaks you're currently on. 2.9.2 also includes a few bug fixes including a bluetooth issue when in Device-Free Mode.

Now you can find the meditations you’re looking for faster and easier than ever before. Head over to the Core Studio tab of the library and tap "Browse All” to view our entire library of classes. Filter and sort meditations by instructor, duration, breath training technique, and more to find a session that matches your interests and fits your schedule. In this release we also fixed a few bugs, including a display issue with the History page due to Daylight Savings Time, an issue where background audio played automatically after completing a Breath Training meditation, an issue with some users being forced to connect to their Core device when logging back in, and an issue where opening shared links to meditations sometimes resulted in a disconnected state.

This update includes a firmware update for your Core Device to support a change in the underlying biodata processing.  We've also introduced some minor analytics improvements to help us diagnose bugs more easily.

With this release, we decided to spruce up the post-meditation screen a bit, to give you some quick summary information about how your session went. If you've been meditating consistently for more than a week, or are on a multi-day streak, the app will let you know. You'll also be informed right away if you got more Calm or Focus during your meditation session than usual, or if your HRV was higher. In addition, we made a few small bug fixes: - Fixed an issue where meditation durations weren't always appearing with the correct value in the Explore tab. - Fixed an issue with the layout of the "Audio" card in the meditation details. - Made some tweaks to the text that appears after your very first meditation. - Made an adjustment to the appearance of the Core logo on the splash screen. Happy meditating!

We've added a new “Shared Use Mode” to the app. Toggle this setting on in your Preferences to allow multiple people to use your Core device and app without corrupting your History, Stats, or Recommendations. While in this mode, their meditation results won't be saved, and they'll be auto-redirected back to the Home tab after a period of inactivity so that the next user can start meditating quickly and easily. Perfect if you want to set up a meditation station in your living room, gym, or other shared space. This update also includes some improvements to the layout of the app on iPad, and some small bug-fixes and layout tweaks since the 2.6.5 release.
