txtodo is a minimalist open-source todo list app made by figbert and inspired by jeff huang. it lists your immediate, short-term tasks to help you get things done without overthinking it.
with txtodo, you list all your tasks for the day in the morning. you can make them as detailed or as simple as you want – the notes feature allows you to store pesky details out of sight. throughout the day, you check off tasks as you complete them. anything unfinished at the end of the day is discarded so you can start fresh tomorrow. you can also create up to three long-term tasks that "float" with you from day-to-day.

txtodo has been re-written from scratch for ios 14 and macos big sur, bringing the newest features and a massively simplified interface to the app you love.
"txtodo companion" has been removed from the macos app store, and replaced with a brand-new big sur version known simply as "txtodo." this version no longer lives in the task bar, and comes with a whole bunch of new features.
the settings page has been simplified, the design cleaned up and... you can now swipe to delete tasks! this update also introduces the "delay task" feature, which lets you put off a task until tomorrow – but watch out, because you can only delay a task once.
