Core Gateway is a MacOS application that allows you to monitor and stream video feeds from and to your Core account. Think of Gateway as a miniature version of Core for your Mac computer. The application can decode and monitor any video feeds currently available in your Core account. It can also stream any local video feeds to your Core account, whether they’re Teradek devices or third party encoders. Video Contribution The current version offers 3 methods to receive live feeds: - Local Teradek device (connected to the same LAN) - Remote Teradek devices that are linked to your Core account - Local third party encoder (hardware or software) via MPEG-TS (TCP), SRT or RTSP (UDP or TCP) - Pre-recorded video files are also supported as a video input Video Distribution The current version offers 4 methods to distribute video feeds. Core Gateway can enable: - MPEG-TS Server - SRT Server - Your Core account - Airmix (Teradek’s video switcher app for iOS) Video destinations must be set-up individually for each independent video source. Once the destination has been set-up, the user must start the stream.
