Overdys puts a reading ruler on your Mac screen, in every app. Keep your place line after line, in web pages, PDFs, documents and long spreadsheets. Made by an independent developer who focuses on accessibility, for readers with dyslexia, ADHD or low vision, and for anyone who loses the line on a busy screen. FREE • Ruler: a clear band follows your cursor and dims the rest of the page. • Tint: eight reading tints, or any color you like, over the whole screen, with adjustable intensity. • Turn it on and off with Option-Command-I, switch to Ruler with Option-Command-R or to Tint with Option-Command-O. Lives in the menu bar, no Dock icon. • Works on your main screen, in full screen apps and across Spaces. OVERDYS PRO • Lock (Option-Command-K): the ruler stays on your line while you click, scroll and take notes elsewhere. • Snap to lines: the ruler fits the text line or the spreadsheet row under the cursor. • Next and previous line from the keyboard (Control-Option-Command-Down Arrow / Control-Option-Command-Up Arrow). • Ruler settings: adjust its height (also with Option-Command-Up Arrow / Option-Command-Down Arrow), how much it dims and the color of the band. • Line mode: a thin line under the text instead of a band. • Every screen: one ruler per display, with second monitors handled on the fly. PRICE Overdys is free to download. Overdys Pro is a yearly subscription at $9.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase after the trial. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store account settings.
