Panoploid

Panoploid is an E-Multimedia Composer and an interactive Player.
Panoploid is the iPhone version of Panoply for the iPhone.
Create your business card, greeting card, next panoramic photo, ipod playlist, party invitation with directions, travel book with audio/video, executive multimedia presentation, art sketches, music video album with cover art: all on the iPhone.
Device Requirements:
This application runs only on iPad 3 or higher.
Similar to E-book, in addition to text and image, you can composite maps and graphics and add 'On Touch Do'(OnDo) directives on composites to play audio, video, show another image or display a web page. Such composites are collectively, in general, referred to as 'Composite(s)' below.
Composite library can be searched on: location by address, latitude/longitude, or a caption.
Share the composite image via e-mail or Bluetooth in multimedia rich proprietary format, or as a PDF, or image.
Panoploid also helps you capture panoramic views by automatically positioning, sizing and orienting individual photos(max 5) approximately.
Composites can be edited on the spot while capturing or any other time later.
A set of composites s can be collected in a 'Portfolio' and saved.
Panoploid manages all of your media resources optimally without duplicating them if possible.
Panoploid does not force a workflow or a method. Any moment during capture or creation or modification is the same as any other and all operations are available all the time.
Panoploid stores content in a device independent format. This currently means that whenever a composite is edited, modified, and stored back, the changes are applied on the original to maximize the resolution of the result. Looking ahead, it means that should we release Panoploid on devices with higher resolution, your current content can be presented on the device with the device native resolution.
Panoploid uses database technology to store the contents. Therefore it is fast, responsive and, searchable.
Panoploid is built 100% on native iPhone technologies: there are no other third party software or software ported over from other platforms.
In Panoploid, what a gesture means is determined by context(graphics, maps, etc.,)as well as settings. This prevents us from having to invent arbitrary distinct gesture for each operation. But it also means that one needs to be aware of the context and settings that might affect a gesture. For example, in graphics workspace, you can create a rectangle, an ellipse, a filled rectangle or, a filled ellipse all with two touches. What gets created depends on the settings.
Therefore, we strongly recommend that you at least cursorily go through the 4 pages of info before starting in order to be more productive as well as for a better experience at:

Pressing the target corner again to delete it.
更多 Update for iOS 17. The app had some of the functionality broken in the recent iOS releases: Camera capture, Multimedia replay, many general navigation were also broken. Maps and compositing of map snapshots were non functional due to new Google maps requirements. Attaching filter crash fixed. These are now fixed. General performance improvements.

Copy/paste: touch on the composite workspace. If the composite has content, Select, SelectAll, Copy are available.
Printing: In the composite workspace, Send shows an option to send to Printer
Release note is available in the 'Contact' workspace.
- When sending portfolio or composite in panoply format
the image compression level can be set with Settings(‘S’) -> PDF settings -> Image compression. The default is maximum compression.
- Media on annotations('Note')s.
- Since multiple notes can be attached to a component, multiple media attached via corresponding
'Note's can be associated with a component.
- You can still attach a media to component itself in addition to the media associated with its notes.
- A media attached to a note by default plays in the area of its associated component. However, it(primarily video) can specified to
be played in the note itself or in full screen as well, via the Note's detail info.
When you add(‘+’) one portfolio to another, now there is additional option: ‘Index To’.
‘Index To’ is the same as previous ‘Navigate To’. ‘Navigate To’ option now has a back navigation arrow in the navigation bar
allowing you to navigate back to the previous portfolio. When you switch portfolios by either navigation or indexing, the smooth scroll
or left and right transitions are set to those of the destination portfolio as well.
The portfolio scroll settings(’S’ -> Portfolio -> Smooth Scroll section) for the current portfolio are saved whenever changes are made.
Currently, Portfolio left and right transitions(when smooth scroll is not chosen) are not saved when you make changes to it. However,
there is a workaround to save it: just switch on the Smooth scroll and switch it back('off).
Portfolio navigation has additional option : NavigateTo to index to another portfolio
Selection of color from photo is now incorporated into the color picker.
For portfolios, smooth horizontal scrolling for going to previous or next composite is set as the new default.
Previously created portfolio will continue to have left and right transition animations as at the time of their creation.
New portfolios created will have smooth horizontal scrolling. You can change the behavior to vertical scrolling or
animation effects by selecting those via settings: S->Portfolio->Right transition, Left transition, Smooth scrolling(horizontal or vertical).
A new Paint mode with air brush texture is available for graphics. In order to activate it, press
the ]Paint[ button in the graphics bottom
toolbar. To deactivate paint mode, press the
same button when it is titled '[Paint] '.
Erase for paint mode is available when paint mode is on. In order to activate erase, press the ]Erase[ button. To deactivate erase, press the same button when it is titled '[Erase]'.
The settings for paint brush(color, size) is available under Settings -> Graphics.
The brush size is interpreted as eraser size when in [Erase] state.
Previous methods for drawing lines, arcs, closed figures are still available. These are recommended for situations where composite is converted to PDF as these are rendered as 'Vector graphics' as opposed to painting.
Better and more precise blend modes: when blend is specified on a component, blend is applied only to the extent of the component.
Portfolios now support smooth scrolling. Scrolling can be set to either vertical or horizontal.
Smooth scrolling is enabled via Settings(’S’) -> Portfolio -> Smooth scroll-> On.

Bug fixes:
----------
- ´Note’ previously was not rendered correctly in the saved composite.
If you previously created a composite with the issue, re-edit and re-save to fix the issue.
- Portolio ‘go to’ particular sheet(by tapping on the current sheet number in portfolio bottom tool bar
and entering the sheet to go to) didn’t previously scroll thumbnail roll to center the chosen sheet.

Navigation from one portfolio to another: when inserting one portfolio to another, there is an additional 'Navigate To' option. Touching the composite for the inserted portfolio navigates to that portfolio. Currently, there is no automatic 'back' to go back to the previous portfolio.

Bug fixes:
————-
Color chooser was broken on iPad. This is fixed.
Thanks to developer updates from Apple, this release re-instates saving and sending composites as PDF.
This also means composites will be presented in landscape in the composite roll.
You can update the composite to the pdf format by ‘edit’ing it and saving it(i.e., bring it to the composite workspace,
edit, save).
Known Issue:
——————-
Color value components can not be set to 255(0xFF). Max value it can be set to is 254(0xFE). If it is set to 255,
the app modifies the value to 254. This is due to underlying iOS issues which render color gray at 255. We will
make an updated release if and when it is fixed in iOS. Note that the color depends on the ration of color values
and not so much on the value itself. So, this affects only a very small fraction of all available colors.

Color range for red, blue, green is reverted to 0-255. Currently true PDF sending is disabled. PDFs essentially an envelope
for images. However, all design information is stored in vector format. We will re-enable true PDF format once the underlying issues
are fixed.

On iPad, dismiss the color chooser by pressing ‘Done’. Dismissing by just tapping outside the setting popup will not set the color.
(2) Portfolio smooth scrolling
Portfolios now support smooth scrolling. Scrolling can be set to either vertical or horizontal.
Smooth scrolling is enabled via Settings(’S’) -> Portfolio -> Smooth scroll-> On.
When smooth scrolling is enabled, Portfolio left and right transition effects(In Settings(’S’) -> Portfolio ->
Right or Left transition) won’t be applied(since they can not mean anything)

Please go through the version history for information about blending and filters since this is the
only place this info is currently available, in particular for 7.7.7111(blending and media attachment to
the whole composite), 7.7.773(blend modes), 7.7.7(Panoply cloud),
and 7.6.75(Image filters), 7.5.75(quick component dimension modification)
7.7.7117 2017/04/18
Note
----
If you had previously downloaded version 7.7.7115, and had images in the composite,
these would have shown up as gray patches in the saved composite in the library.
You can re-edit and re-save them with this version to recover images.
Enhancements:
---------------
(1) New additional Color Chooser(‘Swatch, Hex, Slider’) lets you choose color by color
‘swatch/color blocks’, by name, hex or decimal color code, or using red, green, and blue color sliders.
When you touch ‘Color’ button for any item in the Settings(’S’), the two options are presented: previous (Red,Green) and Blue color chooser, or the new color chooser.
The new color chooser also lets you ‘sort’ colors presented by name, hex value, or ‘original’ random order.
Setting a value for the color updates other selectors in the new color chooser to the corresponding
same color value — including scrolling the color swatches to so as to the this color be in the first row.
The new color choosers are supported in the individual component inspector(‘i’)
On iPad, dismiss the color chooser by pressing ‘Done’. Dismissing by just tapping outside the setting popup will not set the color.

Bug fixes:
————-
Color chooser was broken on iPad. This is fixed.
Note that the color depends on the ratio of color values
and not so much on the value itself. So, this affects only a very small fraction of all available colors.
