更多 - A second reference layer with opacity control can now be used as an overlay to the original reference image. You can load a second image and/or add annotations (text, lines, rect, ellipses, freehand/Apple Pencil, colours). This allows for endless combinations. For example, you can load the same image again and using the opacity control combined with CopyIt features like Pencil Sketch, Mosaic, Filters, ValueMap etc., it provides another level of insight into studying your subject. You could also load in a photo of your work-in-progress as the second reference and fade between the two to check accuracy.
- Mosaic now works with Greyscale and Negative Greyscale Filters (turn on the filter first, then Mosaic) so you can use Tonal Strip for block value studies.
- Added preset toolbar colour schemes: Classic Grey, Slate Contrast, Ivory Draft, Blueprint, Forest Studio, Oxford Plum, Sandstone, Harbor Teal, Merlot, Mist and Custom.
- Grid Size presets are now always available and automatically best suit the current Media Size. Old presets become custom columns/rows.

- New Feature: Perspective Grid. Toggle a perspective grid using a new button on the right toolbar. Choose between one, two or three-point perspective modes with adjustable vanishing points. Long-press the button to switch modes and access advanced controls via the Settings button (left toolbar).
- Ruler Updates: The ruler introduced in v7.0 has been improved. The imperial/metric measurement system is now selectable in the Settings button (left toolbar). The ruler now displays either Inches or MM, not both. This frees up space for additional helpful guides like the current ruler angle, its complement, current length and coordinates for the top left and right edges within the current grid system (Left, Top, Bottom, Right). Long-press the ruler to reset its rotation/position, enable/disable 15-degree snap and reset its size. A toggle option for ruler labels has also been added. If the ruler is resized too narrow to fit all the labels, the location labels will automatically hide.
- New Feature: A Tutorial button has been added to the right toolbar.
- Pencil Sketch Improvements: Temporarily auto-selects grid colour during Pencil Sketch, keeping the grid visible if it’s on.
- Tonal Strip Improvements: You can now choose from 6-13 tonal steps via the Settings Button (left toolbar). Each tonal step now also shows the percentage grayscale value.

- All preferences are now accessible directly within CopyIt via the new Settings button on the left Toolbar. This eliminates the need to leave the app for system settings.
- Customisable Toolbars with a live preview are now available. You can change the Toolbar, Button and Font colours within the new Settings button. All colours support transparency, allowing you to see your work through the toolbars and buttons if desired. You can also reset the appearance to the default colours.
- A new true-scale Ruler feature is now available. It’s calibrated to your selected Media Size and is disabled for ‘Device Screen’ and ‘Custom’ Media Sizes. You can drag, rotate or reset its position. The ruler automatically scales while zooming and is available as a toggle on the right Toolbar. The Ruler Colour, INCH Colour and MM Colour labels can also be customised within the Settings button. Transparency is also available for the Ruler colours. You can reset the Ruler appearance to revert to the default colours.
- A new Crop Image feature allows you to crop your reference image directly within CopyIt. A Ratio button provides preset crop areas that can also be rotated for quick Portrait or Landscape adjustments (presets use Media Sizes). If you change your mind, you can revert your cropped image to the original reference image.
- A new Pencil Sketch toggle effect is now available. You can long-press on the Pencil Sketch button to access its controls and fine-tune the effects.
- A new Rotate All button rotates both the reference image and grid together. The Rotate Image button remains available.
- Project Naming: When you save a project, CopyIt now automatically suggests an available project name and checks for duplicates as you type.

- Bug fixes relating to using the Transparent Background option (in the Settings App in the CopyIt section).
When using the Export Photo button, reference images with transparency will now be exported with transparency intact. This now also includes email, AirDrop, iMessage, iCloud etc.
This allows you to import 'gridded images' into third-party apps (such as Photoshop, Procreate, SketchBook etc) as layers.

(NEW) TubeMatch
TubeMatch is an approximation for the digital equivalent of paint tube colours. Choose from a selection of paint manufacturers and ranges and touch a section of your reference image to obtain the closest tube match. TubeMatch works best when used in conjunction with the Mosaic feature, as it provides you with an average colour over a larger area rather than sampling a single point of colour. When providing a tube match, a rating system is used. Five stars is almost a perfect match with no mixing required whereas one star is close, but may be a few shades lighter or darker. If no suitable match is found, the closest possible suggestion is still shown for your reference. When sampling, the colour on the left is the colour being sampled and the colour on the right is the tube colour.
(NEW) Media Sizes
You can now choose from a selection of Media Sizes. The default is set to the Device Screen but you can now choose media like 'A4' or standard canvas sizes. This will change your grid and image ratio to suit your chosen media size. Remember to also set your desired Image Aspect if your image looks stretched or squashed. 'Aspect Fit' is a popular choice.
Choosing a Media Size (other than Device Screen or Custom) also displays the real-world measurement for a single grid in inches or millimetres depending on the media, when using SmartMove.
Use the Email Support button within CopyIt to let me know if your favourite size is missing, as the most requested Media Sizes will be added.
(NEW) Resize Grid Toggle
When turned on, you can resize the grid by dragging from any corner of the grid. For your convenience you can also reposition the grid by dragging from inside it. Using this feature changes your Media Size to Custom.
(NEW) Resize Image Toggle
When turned on, you can resize your reference image by dragging from any corner of the image. Remember to also set your desired Image Aspect if your image does not look like what you expect. In addition, you can move your reference image (independent of the grid) by dragging from inside it. Using this feature changes your Media Size to Custom.
- Sound On/Off option has been added to the bottom toolbar.
- Projects now show their filesize in MB.

- New Feature: Mosaic (Toggles on/off) - turns your reference image into a mosaic of coloured squares (with adjustable sizes).
For painters or coloured pencil artists, Mosaic can be used as a colour picker when choosing your palette. It can also be used by mosaicist's when designing their mosaics.
