This app can help you learn the Bengali alphabet! Practice tracing each one until you're familiar-- then quiz yourself on the letters! Each section has an about section explaining about the writing system. When you're more comfortable with the letters, try the scramble or typing game to get a feel for how to build full words! Bengali, also known as Bangla, is the 5th most spoken language in the world. It is the national language of Bangladesh and the official language of the Indian states West Bengal, Tripura, and the Barak Valley region of the state of Assam. The Bengali script is also used for other languages such as Assamese and Maithili.
