What's new in 1.4.0: • Celebrations redesigned: smoother, and the same on every phone. With Reduce Motion on, they gently fade in instead. • New sounds for right and wrong answers, streaks and milestones (Settings → Sounds). • Reader: more text on each page, bigger key ideas and checkpoints, and a neater finish at the end of a book. • Settings regrouped so everything is easier to find, and you can now rate NextRead from there. • Sound fixes on iPhone and Android, a smoother iPhone launch screen, and more fixes.

• Celebrate your progress: finishing a read, a quiz or your Daily Recall now gets its own moment, with your XP, streak and milestones. • Answers feel alive: sounds, haptics and small animations on every checkpoint and quiz answer. Turn them off any time in Settings → Sounds & animations. • Bedtime mode: a warm amber page in the evening that's easier on your eyes before sleep. • Cleaner key idea and checkpoint cards, so more of each chapter fits on a page. • Like all the books in a shared stack with one tap. • Clearer reading stats on your profile. • Rate NextRead straight from Settings. • Smaller fixes and polish.

The biggest NextRead update yet: • 15-minute reads: great books in a reader that turns pages like a real book • Your reading plan, a daily goal and reminders • Streaks, XP and weekly leagues • Highlights, quizzes and Daily Recall • Offline reading, dark mode and 5 languages • Search that forgives typos
