Support for AirPods!

An amazing big update! For a long time the app was limited to just a few items, but now we’ve rolled up our sleeves and decided to take the challenge — and you can finally count more than 4 items at once, with support for up to 10 items. FINALLY. We kept the amazing UI. It still looks great in both portrait and landscape mode, just like before. We’re really happy about how this turned out. All of this comes after the last update that added support for personal colors (in the Settings screen, tap the “Unlock New Colors” button). We also added support for more languages, so now you can count in Korean, Spanish, and Japanese. We hope you enjoy the new features and colors, and as always, we would love any feedback.

This feature has been long-requested and waiting in the pipeline. I'm so happy to announce... drum roll... COLORS! Now you can choose whatever color you want for the counting background. To open this new feature, there is a button in the settings screen called 'Unlock New Colors (1 min survey)'. Follow the super short questions and after that, you will get the ability to change colors. All you need to do is tap the color circle next to the item name and you will be presented with the color picker. If you want to bring back the original colors, you can delete the item and add it back with the original color. Have fun!

Bug fix and performance improvements

Added a new setting that enables COOL number-change animations. When enabled, counters update with smoother and nicer transitions. The feature can be turned on or off in Settings.

LANDSCAPE BABY!!! You asked you got it.

Thanks to a nice user, We now have much nicer interface. Added a new toggle: Huge numbers, this will make the counting screen have big numbers that you can see from the other side of the room. We can now also have just one item to count, if you didn't know that. Have fun! And as always comment and suggestion are always welcome.

Fixed an annoying bug that no one liked.

After so many requests, the app is now fully available in German, French, and Arabic! Guten Tag, Bonjour, and مرحباً to our new friends! You can now count your objects in three beautiful new languages, making the app more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. We also squashed a few bugs and polished several UI elements — especially in the VR version — for a smoother, sharper experience. Enjoy the update!

There was a shameful bug that I don’t believe I released the app with. Anyway, enough about me. The major bug is now fixed. I’ve tweaked the animation a bit to make it nicer. I know Apple has improved the speech recognition engine, so you should expect better results when the app picks up your voice. I hope you’re all doing well. New and improved animations! Now you will see the item's text animate when updated. New icon! This one makes it clear what the app is about. Bug crushing! Also just for the ones that don't get what this is app is about i created a video that show the app and how it works.

This update is a significant step up! The most missing feature: See what the app hears and when you talk to it. - This way, if you are using names like "Gili" or "Liron", but the count doesn't increase, you can see in the small toast (popup label) what the app actually heard from you. This way, you can rename the item's name to the app's input and count items with unusual names. The story of this app is this: In one of the places I worked in, there was a ping pong table. Itamar and I (and other great friends like Almog and Liron) used to play there to get some steam off. But counting the score was challenging. So, I created a basic app that will listen to any variation of our names. And each time a name was mentioned, the app would add 1 to our score. This is how it all came to mind. The second big thing that is obvious to you as a user but not to me as a developer is the ability to save whatever you were counting and let you continue from where you left off. So now you can force kill the app and expect it to remember the names and count of your items. I also improved the logic of how you interact with the buttons. I added a way to see what you are using the app for so I can improve it even more. And now I'm thinking about my next move. I also fixed some bugs, but that's a given.
