Runde is a friendship app for close friends, long-distance best friends, couples and family circles. One meaningful question every week. A weekly ritual for the people who matter.

UP TO 8 PEOPLE WHO ALREADY MATTER
A circle is 2 to 8 people, and that's the ceiling — small enough that nobody performs. Make a separate one for each part of your life: your university group scattered across cities, your two oldest friends, your long-distance best friend, your partner, your family.
A HALLWAY AND A HEARTBEAT
Every circle has an everyday hallway — an always-open room to talk in whenever. Text, photos, voice notes, video, polls and reactions. Search back through all of it.
Then every Monday, one thing lands that the whole circle answers together. It stays for the week, then closes, and a new one arrives. That's the heartbeat, and it's the whole ritual.
YOU ANSWER FIRST, BEFORE YOU READ ANYONE
You write your own answer before you can see what anybody else wrote. Nobody copies. Nobody performs. Everyone is honest. That one rule is most of why this works.
YOU CHOOSE WHAT CAN LAND. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT WILL.
Some weeks it's something to answer:
"What's a dream you have that feels selfish to say out loud?"
Some weeks it's something to show:
"Post the oldest photo on your phone."
And some weeks it's something to go and do:
"Go for a walk somewhere you don't usually walk and post one thing you saw."
Your circle decides which of those can arrive. Which one shows up on a Monday is never up to you.
A CIRCLE THAT GROWS UP
Circles start light. After a few months of actually showing up, the questions get more personal on their own. The app says so when it happens, and an admin can set it back. Nothing was earned. Time passed, and you kept talking.
A FEW PHOTOS A MONTH
Each of you gets up to 10 photos a month in Moments, shared with the circles you pick. They stay and nobody sees who looked. On the 1st you get a look back at the month just closed: everyone's photos, the first thing someone wrote and that month's weekly questions. Tap a friend to see their months.
PRIVACY YOU PICK, ONE CIRCLE AT A TIME
Not every circle needs the same thing, so you choose when you make one.
• Standard circles — instant, and never tracked, sold or shared
• Private circles — messages and answers end-to-end encrypted with RSA-2048 + AES-256-GCM, readable only on your own circle's devices. Monthly photos are not end-to-end encrypted
Either way: no ads, no trackers, no data sold, no contact list access. Offline-first, so it works without internet and syncs when you're back. Your data stays in the EU (Frankfurt).
FREE IS A REAL PLAN
Start and join as many circles as you like. Full messaging. A new question every week. 90 conversation starters in the picker, plus 70 more to show and to do. Your messages stay on your device indefinitely, 90 days of cloud history so a new device can catch up, and a full export whenever you want one.

Any member can unlock a circle for everybody in it. One purchase, twelve months, no auto-renew, nothing to cancel.

Moments is now one feed. This month comes first, and older months follow as you scroll, each opening with a look back at what's inside. Your old stories live here now too, in the month you posted them.
Adding a moment is simpler
Pick your photos, then frame, caption and post them on one canvas. Add text, the time or your city right onto the photo. What you see is exactly what posts.
Closer to your friends' photos
React, comment or double-tap for a heart. Pinch a photo to look closer.
A calmer home
Chapters sit under Unanswered, Active, Hallway and Past, so ended chapters are easy to find again. Each circle shows its week. Tap a tab again to jump back to the top.
You, on You
You now shows your circles, friends and months, plus three conversation starters a day. Settings sit behind the gear.
