WHO IS METACERT?
MetaCert is the cybersecurity company that invented Zero Trust URL Authentication, the new gold standard for verifying web links and stopping online impersonation scams.
Our founder co-founded the global standard for URL classification at the W3C (the standards body for the World Wide Web) and helped pioneer labelling for user accounts and social profiles now used by companies like Twitter.
We began as a spin-out from an Irish telecom and web standards firm in 2002. Today we’re a venture-backed security company spread across Ireland, Silicon Valley, Canada, Ukraine, and the UK with deep roots in telecom, mobile, and internet security.
