USB connections to a Mac are now discovered automatically, so using Knobbler over a cable is as simple as Wi-Fi: plug your iPad or iPhone into the Mac running Live, and the Mac appears a second time under Available devices, marked USB. Tap it to connect through the cable. No IP addresses to look up. USB connections to a Windows computer are not supported; use Wi-Fi there.

- Name your Knobbler pages, and have up to 16 of them per Live set instead of two (requires Knobbler4 device v73 or newer). Tap a page button to switch to it, hold one to rename or delete it, hold and drag it to reorder, and tap + to add a page - Layout mode, in place of XY Join: tap Layout above the sliders to join or split XY pads. On tablets you can also drag any fader or XY pad to another spot, or hold it at the edge of the screen to move it to another page - Cue volume on the Main strip (requires Knobbler4 device v72 or newer): the Cue slider just above the Main fader sets Live’s Cue level for your headphones. Double-tap it to reset - The labels on send, pan and crossfader sliders stay readable at high levels instead of disappearing behind the slider’s fill

- Smoother and more responsive, especially with large sets: Knobbler now uses much less memory and processing power while meters are running and sliders are moving - Grab a slider, fader or XY pad while it springs back and it follows your finger right away. Before, it moved a little and then stopped until you lifted your finger and grabbed it again - New Navigation Panel Width setting on tablets: choose Wide, Normal or Narrow in Setup > Settings - Live Set Navigation now animates: tracks, devices and chains slide open and closed as you move around your set

* You can now swipe left and right on Bluhand pages to navigate device parameter banks. * Fixes a bug on tablets where a Mixer or Clips page might jump to an unexpected scroll position after changing pages.

* Multi-select buttons will now scroll vertically if there are more than 8 choices in the button.

* Rename and recolor tracks and devices with a long press in the navigation panel. Drag and drop devices to reorder. Requires Knobbler4 device v71 or newer. * Adds a toggle and toolbar button to control the Auto-Open Plugin Windows setting that was added in v71 of the device. * Navigation panel shows "no devices" in deviceless tracks or chains.

* Together with v70 of the Knobbler4 Max for Live device, Knobbler now "warms up" pages in the background. The goal is zero waiting switching pages or scrolling large sets. My goal is for Knobbler to never be in the way.

- More work on scrolling: the Mixer, Clips and Session pages are now about twice as responsive to your finger. Changing direction mid-drag, or reaching out to stop a moving grid, happens right away instead of a moment later - Scrolling now uses your device’s own scrolling, so the fling, the slow-down and the bounce at the edges feel like everything else on your device - Faders and sliders respond more immediately, especially on a busy set with meters running - Fixed a Mixer fader that could get stuck showing -inf after pressing Refresh, even though the track in Live was at a normal level - Scrolling quickly through a big Mixer or Session page no longer briefly shows the wrong fader or volume on strips coming into view

* Full screen by default * Only gate the Mixer, Clips, Nav, and Session pages for free users whose trial has expired - Knobbler and Bluhand pages remain usable.

NEW: Track Width * Mixer, Session, and Clips pages have a new Width button in the toolbar. Long-press it and *without lifting your finger* slide left to narrow the track columns or right to widen them. Range is 50%-200%. * New Scroll Lock setting (Setup > Mixer): when on, a fader drag on the mixer page can't slip sideways into an accidental left/right pan.

Together with v64 or newer of the Knobbler4 Max for Live device, you can now Multiplayer Knobbler - disconnect Knobbler from Live's track/device selection. Jam with friends or set up stations around your studio. Another big new feature: swap Knobbler slider assignments. This lets you easily rearrange your Knobbler pages. It even works properly with XY pads. Also, open the Cue Points window to see a timeline of your song with cue points and playhead position shown. Drag or set Loop start/end points. Long press Tempo to then slide left or right to change it. No typing necessary.

New Spring mode! Adjust any parameter temporarily. With spring mode enabled, once you release a slider or XY pad, the value will return to what it was before you touched it. This makes adding flourishes and interesting variations or glitches very easy.

Together with v54 or newer of the Knobbler4 device, this update adds Session View - a combination of Clips and Mixer views. Also adds help labels on toolbar buttons and a new Knobbler Tips page under the Setup page.

Fixes a bug related to re-installing on a second device not picking up the paid status, showing the Purchase button inappropriately.
