What We Aim to Achieve:
Improve Mental Health
Studies show that solutions-focused journalism boosts well-being, reduces stress, and inspires action. Our positive, fact-based perspective promotes hope and confidence in change, while offering real-life examples of meaningful progress.
Strengthen Media Positivity
We offer compelling, inspiring stories that keep readers informed—without overwhelming negativity. Great News creates space for thoughtful, solution-driven content that nurtures a positive relationship with the media.
Promote Democratic Participation
By reporting on real solutions and practical progress, we help people believe in their ability to make a difference. Constructive, solution-oriented journalism supports healthy, engaged democracies and fosters a brighter future for all.
Bridge Cultural Divides
Most positive global media content is English-only. We change that. Our multilingual platform breaks language barriers, enabling intercultural understanding and building global empathy. We encourage meaningful exchange between countries and cultures.
Encourage Responsible Media Use
Great News references only reputable sources. We aim to reshape reader algorithms through positive, well-researched content—fighting misinformation, polarization, and clickbait. Our approach promotes media literacy and critical thinking.
Access for All
Our content is written in simple, accessible language. No prior knowledge is needed. We include external links for those who want to learn more, usually in English, but easily translatable via your browser.
Simplicity & Quality
No ads. No clickbait. No distractions. Just clean design and smooth navigation. Every article is fact-checked and written by native speakers. We only partner with organizations that share our values.
