Dear Apple Review Team, Thank you for reviewing Elva. Elva is an AI-powered video editing agent. Users interact with it through a conversational interface, typing or speaking commands, to edit users videos. The app is built around the user's own video library: it uses gallery content as both the working material and the visual background of the interface. How the app works Elva requires Photos access to function. This is intentional and central to the experience. If Photos permission is denied or not yet granted: — The background will appear black. This is expected, there are no user videos to display. — The user cannot proceed past the permission screen. The app will show a message explaining that video access is needed to continue. — The agentic interface will not be accessible. This behavior is intentional, not a bug or design deficiency. The app cannot function without video content to edit. The app does not allow to generate videos from scratch or do AI transformations of the content. It only creates videos based on the unloaded users’ content. If Photos permission is granted: — The background of the app displays the user's own videos — The agentic (chat) interface is overlaid on top of this background — Users can issue text or voice commands to edit their videos — Additional operations button appears on the right side — All editing operations are performed on videos selected from the camera roll. On screenshots App Store screenshots are a 1:1 representation of the actual UI. Because we cannot include real users' video content in screenshots, we add a representation pictures to demonstrate the live experience when gallery access is provided. Testing recommendation To fully evaluate the app, gallery access must be granted and at least one video must be present in the camera roll before launch. Without this step, the intended user flow cannot be reached. We are happy to support the review process directly.
