Gumpbox now comes to iPhone and iPad, bringing your server command center with you wherever you work.
This release adds a complete mobile experience for managing servers, workflows, files, services, processes, users, disks, cron jobs, tunnels, audit logs, and more. iPad also gets a dedicated adaptive sidebar and split-view layout designed for larger screens.
Mobile file transfers are now much more capable, with multi-file upload and download, remote browsing, folder creation, persistent transfer history, and direct support for iOS Files destinations.
We also improved mobile performance across the app with faster workflow navigation, scoped activity loading, cached assets, smoother keyboard handling, and more stable server detail layouts while live data loads.
Server detail pages now include live stats, emergency actions, and better mobile-friendly controls. Navigation, notifications, empty states, and device-authentication fallback behavior have also been cleaned up across iPhone and iPad.
This is a major cross-platform release for Gumpbox: Mac, iPhone, and iPad now work together as one server management workspace.
更多 • The toolbar Dynamic Island stayed hidden on macOS 27 — it now appears reliably at every startup.
• The AI Agent screen briefly overflowed the window and clipped the sidebar on macOS 27 — the tab bar now fits any width.

• Fixed the welcome letter collapsing into a small strip after unlocking on Mac — it now opens full-size, matching the onboarding letter.
1.12.6 9月20日
• Fixed the thank-you letter covering the lock screen at first open on App Store and TestFlight builds — it now appears once, right after your first unlock.
• Fixed the About window opening at a fixed size with empty space — it now wraps its content and only scrolls when the screen is shorter.
• What's New entries are now grouped and shortened, with one clear line per change.
1.12.5 9月19日
• Fixed a crash on Mac where the app quit unexpectedly the moment an AI agent requested a file upload or download — before the approval dialog could even appear. Agent-requested transfers now open the approval sheet reliably, so you always get the final say.
• The transfer approval dialog now consistently shows which server a transfer targets, with the server's name and host badge in the session details.
• Hardened the background data path shared with browser agents, closing off a similar crash before it could happen.
1.12.4 9月18日
• Built-in command libraries: gate destructive commands, package management, service control, user and permission changes, and more.
• Consent before execution: when an agent's command matches a guardrail, you see the exact command, the rule it matched, and who's asking. Approve to run it — deny and nothing touches your server.
• Your own rules: add custom guarded commands, and give individual servers stricter or looser guardrails than the global setup.
• Agent-friendly: a new guardrails resource over MCP lets compatible AI clients check what's gated before they start work.

- Watch streams the full browser now: window chrome, tab strip, address bar, menus — not just the page. New Xvnc display stack; human input works on browser UI too.
- Live quality pill in the viewer (fps, throughput, resolution) + stream-tunnel status in the web viewer, so "stream or site?" is answerable at a glance.
- Viewer no longer opens to an empty desktop: the browser window auto-raises front and fullscreen, and browser containers boot faster.
1.12.2 9月8日
- Terminal scrolling rebuilt on iPhone and iPad: momentum flicks through tmux history, long-press → Select → drag to span and copy without scroll fighting the gesture.
- Duplicated prompt lines piling up in terminal history after scrolling, tab switches, or window resizes.
- Closing a terminal on iPhone/iPad wipes it from Saved Terminals and ends the server-side session; on Mac, launching a second copy now focuses the running one instead of fighting it over sessions.
1.12.1 9月4日
- Security: a new screen in the Monitor group scores every connected server's posture across external risk (brute-force, exposure, flood indicators) and internal risk (backdoors, accounts, pending updates) — on Mac, iPad, and iPhone.
- Suspicious-activity feed: fail2ban bans, accepted logins, and baseline changes (new SUID binaries, authorized keys, cron jobs, accounts) are detected and timestamped per server.
- Respond to attackers in one tap — ban or unban any IP through fail2ban, with the same command preview as every other Gumpbox action.
- Software Update: the host helper is now a required component, with a dedicated update surface on Mac (Security → Review) and iPhone (Settings) showing per-server versions.
- Stale helpers block helper-dependent actions until updated — app OTA (binary patches) arrives as its own channel later.
- One-tap fail2ban install from the Security screen — distro-aware package install, sshd jail configuration, and service ena-ble handled by the rebuilt modular host helper (0.20.0).
- On Mac, dragging an app in the launcher now starts the instant you press and move — no more holding still first, so click-and-drag reorders the way you expect.
- Fixed app tiles failing to lift at all when tap gestures swallowed the drag — the drag interaction now lives on a dedicated layer, so sorting, reordering, and dropping an app onto a folder work in one motion on Mac, iPad, and iPhone.
1.12.0 9月3日
• While an AI agent drives a browser session, input is held on every viewer surface — the Mac window, the web viewer, and iPhone — and returned the instant the agent finishes
• The agent activity panel in the browser viewer scrolls and copies properly again
• Sandbox and browser app ports now stay on the server itself — fully reachable through Gumpbox, no longer exposed to the surrounding network
• The Apps launcher renders and drags more smoothly on Mac, iPad, and iPhone, staying responsive with large app grids
• Fixed missing server section headers in the Apps launcher and an app landing on the wrong tile during drag-to-reorder
1.11.5 8月24日
- Apps got folders: create your own, drag apps in, rename or delete them — folders sync across rescans, backups, and your devices.
- Rename any app — your name sticks through rescans instead of being overwritten by the scan.-
- Apps linked to a deployment show a Live or Warning badge, with Open Deployment right from the app.
- Docker apps now classify correctly — user-deployed apps land flat on your grid by default instead of mislabeled as Internal.
- The launcher opens instantly with your last scan, folders, and renames already applied while the next scan runs.
- The macOS manages the grid directly — drag to reorder, drop on a folder to move, no edit mode needed.
- Fixed scan results reverting to old apps after a restart — the cache now matches the last completed scan exactly.
- Fixed drag-to-sort, context-menu flicker, and folder tiles vanishing or resizing in the grid.
1.11.4 8月22日
- Buy Pro from the website and redeem the activation key in the app — works on the direct-download Mac build.
- Added one key, every device: it also unlocks Pro on iPhone and iPad. Redeem it in Settings → License.
- Licenses are verified online at launch — refunds and revocations apply automatically.
- You can deactivate a device from Settings → License, and the Pro letter now shows how and when you unlocked Pro.
1.11.3 8月21日
Announcements now refresh automatically when you launch Gumpbox on Mac, iPad, and iPhone — the bell badge and Home card surface new posts as soon as you open the app, without needing to open the list first.
Plus general enhancements across Gumpbox for better stability, performance, and reliability.
1.10.4 8月5日
- New bell on Mac and iPad, and a card on iPhone Home, surface product updates, security advisories, and guides. A badge tracks what's new and clears on open.
- Cleaner server detail layout and other refinements.
1.10.3 8月4日
- Added a new License section in Settings on iPhone and iPad, showing your current FREE or PRO tier and Pro activation date.
- Made it easier to upgrade to Pro or view your Pro license details and thank-you letter.
- Refined the Pro license experience on iPhone and iPad for a cleaner native presentation.
1.10.1 7月30日
• Free to download. Connect one server and use every feature — terminal, files, monitoring, MCP, workflows, tunnels, sandbox, and more — across Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
• PRO unlocks scale. A one-time $19.99 purchase grants unlimited servers, iCloud sync across your Apple devices, and local backup/restore. No subscriptions, ever.
• Existing paid users keep PRO automatically. If you previously purchased Gumpbox, your original purchase is detected via Apple's signed receipt — updating to 1.10.0 will not downgrade you. No action needed.
• All formerly paid-only features are now available on the free tier's single server. PRO gates scale and cross-device sync, not core functionality.
• Various bug fixes and refinements.
1.10.0 7月28日
- Host tab now shows real Docker, gVisor, and helper versions, with "Not installed" when a component is missing.
- gVisor shows ready only when the runsc binary is actually installed — no more false green checks.
- New Prepare Host review sheet summarizes what's missing before any install runs.
- Removed the unreliable per-sandbox disk quota; /workspace shares host disk.
- Fixed a false failure when dockerd restarts during Prepare Host.
1.9.3 7月18日
- Simplified sandbox model: All sandboxes now run a standardized Alpine-based image with gVisor as the sole security boundary. Custom image selections and outbound network toggles have been removed to streamline setup.
- Clearer agent permissions: MCP consent sheets now display the full server identity (name, tag, and host IP) before any agent-mediated action.
- More reliable SSH access: The sandbox SSH daemon now self-heals automatically through restarts and recreates, ensuring port 22 is always available.
- Broader Linux support: gVisor installs cleanly on Alpine, Arch, NixOS, and other distributions via a static binary, without overwriting your existing Docker daemon configuration.
- Security improvements: Hardened sandbox key-revoke path handling and fixed a rare sync issue that could incorrectly mark active sandboxes as destroyed.
