ImageButler is now free to download. • Viewing, rating and rejecting photos are free for everyone, including RAW files. • ImageButler Premium is a one-time purchase that adds Export, XMP sidecars for Lightroom and Bridge, moving all rejected photos to the Trash in one step, and Compare. • Already bought ImageButler? Thank you. Premium is included for you, with nothing to buy or restore.

Version 2.1 • A refreshed app icon. • Small improvements and refinements.

ImageButler 2.0 is our biggest update yet: a faster, keyboard-first culling workflow from first look to final export. NEW • Reject & delete: press X to mark photos as rejected, then press Delete to move all of them to the Trash at once. Press ⌘Z to bring them back. • RAW support for CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, RAF, ORF, RW2 and more. RAW + JPEG pairs appear as one photo and are rated, exported and deleted together. • Ratings are saved to XMP sidecar files that Adobe Lightroom and Bridge can read. • Compare: press C to pin a photo and compare it side by side with the next shots. Zoom and pan stay in sync. • Photo info: camera, lens, focal length, aperture, shutter speed and ISO in Detail view (press I). • Sort by capture time. Burst shots are labeled in the grid. • Space switches between Fit and 100% in Detail view. • Your last folder reopens automatically. • A keyboard guide on first launch, and What's New in the Help menu. IMPROVED • Thumbnails are generated up to 6× faster. • Smoother browsing in large folders with smarter memory and disk caching. • A simpler Export window that shows exactly what will happen. Export any rating range at any time, together with RAW files and ratings. • Exporting large files no longer freezes the app. • Standard macOS toolbar and status bar. • Animated GIFs play without slowing down the app. FIXED • Ratings could be lost when quitting right after rating a photo. • Ratings were not restored for every photo in large folders. • The thumbnail cache did not work for folders with long or non-English names. • Crashes when switching folders or deleting photos while a folder was loading. • Typing in the search field no longer triggers shortcuts, and key presses no longer play the alert sound. • Sorting by date and undoing a rating now work correctly.
