iPhones record 4K video in HDR by default, and compressing those videos previously left the resolution unchanged — so “720p” could still come out as a huge 4K file. That’s fixed: HDR videos now scale to exactly the resolution you choose, keeping their HDR brightness and colors. Also new: - Keep the original - turn off “Delete original after compression” to compare before deciding - Compare screen - after compressing, see before/after size and resolution, and play both videos side by side.
