Cast to TV for Chromecast allows you to send media from your iPhone to compatible TVs and set-top boxes using Cast technology. The app establishes a Cast session and delivers a media link to the receiver, where playback is handled directly by the TV. Once casting starts, the receiving device plays and controls the content independently. The mobile app does not provide playback controls. Main Casting Experience 1. Discover Cast-enabled devices on the same local network and verify connection requirements, including shared Wi-Fi and a powered-on TV. 2. Follow a short built-in setup guide, establish a Cast session with the selected device, and send media links directly to the receiver. 3. Casting continues when the app is minimized, allowing you to use your phone without interrupting the session. 4. Automatic reconnection is applied if the network is interrupted, with a clear indication of the active session inside the app. Photo, Video, and Music Casting - Browse your local photo gallery, video library, and audio files directly from the app. - Select the desired media and send it to a Cast device as a media link. - Photos are displayed on the TV as static images with preserved aspect ratio for correct presentation. - Video and audio playback is fully performed and controlled by the receiving device, not the mobile app. Web Casting - Use a built-in minimal browser to open websites by entering a URL directly in the app. - Send the currently opened web page to a Cast device for display on the TV screen. - The TV detects available video content on the page and handles playback and playlists through the receiver. - Quick bookmarks allow fast access to frequently used websites. Free Version Casting is available in demo mode, allowing a one-time cast of either one photo, one short video (up to 5 minutes), or one web page with playback limited to 5 minutes. Premium Version Unlock full photo, video, music, and web casting with unlimited streaming sessions and enhanced casting quality across supported devices.
