Turn on "Tip before tax & fees" and the tip is figured on the subtotal. On an $86.75 check with $7.16 tax and a $3.00 service fee, a 20% tip is $15.32, not $17.35. Tip generously on the food. Skip tipping the county and the card reader.
SPLIT TO THE PENNY
Up to 20 people. When a bill doesn't divide evenly, Pitip shows exactly who covers the extra cent: $100 at 18% across three people is $39.33, $39.33, and $39.34. The shares always add back up to the total, so nobody quietly eats the rounding.
