If you download videos, you know the problem: audio levels are all over the place. One file barely audible, the next painfully loud. Normally fixes this automatically. Point it at your downloads folder and every new video gets its audio normalised as it arrives. No manual exports, no command-line tools, no fiddling with complicated software. Just consistent audio across your library. TWO WAYS TO NORMALIZE Choose sample peak normalisation to bring audio to 0dB peak while preserving dynamic range, or loudness target normalisation (EBU R128) to make different videos feel closer in perceived volume. Pick the method that suits your library. KEEP OR REPLACE ORIGINALS Overwrite files in place for a clean library, or save normalised copies alongside the originals. PER-FOLDER CONTROL Different folders can use different rules. Override the normalisation method, output mode, retry strategy, and language preferences for each watched folder independently. Perfect for separating films from TV shows, or different content types. EXTERNAL DRIVE SUPPORT Plug in a drive containing a watched folder and Normally picks up right where it left off. Eject the drive and it pauses gracefully. No manual reconfiguration needed. FLEXIBLE AUDIO PROCESSING Process just the primary audio track, target your preferred language track, or normalise all audio tracks at once. See exactly which streams were processed and how much gain was applied to each, complete with language labels. SMART FILE TRACKING Files are tracked by content fingerprint, so renaming or moving them won't cause duplicate processing. Event-driven monitoring picks up new files faster with less idle resource usage. TRANSPARENT HISTORY See every file that's been processed: what method was used, how much gain was applied per audio stream, processing time, and retry status. History persists across app launches so you always know what's been handled. EVERYTHING STAYS LOCAL All processing happens on your Mac using bundled tools. No cloud services, no uploads, no data collection, no Homebrew required. Video streams are preserved where possible, with only audio reprocessed. SET UP ONCE, WORKS CONTINUOUSLY Launches at login, runs from the menu bar, and stays out of your way. A small status indicator lets you know when it's working. Configure retry strategies for failed files and use the diagnostics tab to check system status.
