Clip Sweeper analyzes your Adobe Premiere Pro project files and shows you exactly which media files you imported to a project are sitting on your drives unused. Drag in one or more .prproj files, and Clip Sweeper parses every timeline, sequence, and nested sequence to determine what is actually in use and what is just taking up space.
We all have archived projects from 6 years ago we just can't delete, so let's compromise and delete only what we didn't use.
HOW IT WORKS + FEATURES
Drop your .prproj files into Clip Sweeper. The shows the clips used and unused in every project so you get a sortable, filterable table of every media file in your project with thumbnails, file sizes, status, and storage locations.
Add unused files to a virtual recycle bin, review them, and choose how to handle them: move to Trash, permanently delete, or relocate to another folder. Every action is logged with an audit trail so you always have a record of what was removed and when. Nothing is changed until you confirm by typing "delete" so there's no chance of a mistake.
MULTI-PROJECT AWARENESS
Working across multiple Premiere projects that might share the same media pool? Clip Sweeper aggregates usage across all imported projects. A file that appears unused in one project but is actively used in another's timeline will be correctly flagged as used. The app automatically consolidates duplicate entries when the same physical file is referenced at different paths, and warns you before deleting anything that might be needed by another project.
SMART SEARCH FOR OFFLINE MEDIA
We all just move finished projects on our archive drive or NAS which offlines the media on the next project open. Clip Sweeper marks them as offline and uses a Smart Search to automatically reconnect those files using path-aware confidence scoring.
