Cross-country ski, ski touring and Hyrox races now show their own sport and icon in the race catalog, race editor and clubs. Ski sessions are sent to Apple Watch as cross-country skiing. Changing the sport of a planned session no longer resets it to Ride. TrainNow quick picks now match the web: trail runs get running sessions, Swim tempo builds a tempo session, Strength has all 11 options and Ride and Run get Post-Race.
2026.10.16 1天前
- The Garmin consent step now marks which permission is required and which is optional, and Continue tells you what is missing instead of being greyed out.
- The workout push card has a "Send anyway" switch.
- In Coach chat, only a tool that actually ran and worked shows the green check.
- The target fitness slider for your goal covers every range and lands on whole numbers.
- Schedule day limits now match the web: Ride 10 h, Run 4 h, Swim 2 h.
- FTP warnings and the FTP card describe Intervals.icu as a connected service rather than the source of your FTP.
- The brand background now fills the whole screen.
2026.10.15 2天前
- Connected services now share one card in Settings, with a clear consent step before you connect and the choice to keep or delete their data when you disconnect.
- Activity charts show running speed as pace, with faster drawn higher.
- Coach settings are now available on every plan.
- Setup only mentions the daily briefing when your daily email is switched on.
2026.10.14 3天前
New training schedule editor: tap a day to pick sports, time available and an optional time of day, with quick length presets. Training Plan and Settings now open the same editor.
Before saving, see exactly which upcoming sessions change. Changes start tomorrow.
Fixed: a day that allows more than one sport is no longer split into separate sessions, and a schedule that didn't load can no longer be saved over your real one.
Fixed: on iPhone, Settings opens again instead of sliding back and forth.
2026.10.13 4天前
- After an FTP test, the activity page now shows a test report: your new FTP, how it compares, whether the test was valid, and one tap to use the new value or keep your current one.
- Fixed: on iPhones and Macs set to Simplified Chinese, many texts showed internal codes instead of Chinese.
- Fixed: right after signing in, some texts appeared in your device's language instead of the language you chose in IntervalCoach.
- Dates, weekdays and month names throughout the app now follow the language you chose in IntervalCoach.
- Fixed: in several languages, "Training Plan" showed a settings path instead of the page name.
- Sidebar on iPad and Mac: labels stay on one line and the icons line up.
- The weekly chart in your training plan now fits its column on iPad and Mac.
- IntervalCoach now opens in a single window on iPad and Mac.
- On a foldable iPhone, folding or unfolding keeps what you were doing: your Coach+ message, your Train Now choices, the calendar day you picked, unsaved changes in the workout builder, an open activity or planned session, and open forms such as adding a race.
- Unfolding while you are in an Analytics or Settings page now shows that page next to the sidebar.
- With a keyboard on iPhone and iPad: ⌘1–⌘5 switch tabs, and in Coach+ Return sends while Shift-Return starts a new line.
- On iPad and Mac, the day editor in your training plan shows all its buttons, and the activity map uses the wider screen.
- Train Now: the workout mode now has its own card near the top, so the floating button no longer covers it.
- The Fitness/Form switch on the dashboard no longer cuts off longer translations.
2026.10.11 6天前
- Sign in with a passkey: Face ID or your device code, without waiting for an email. Add one under Settings > Profile > Sign-in methods.
- Edit your profile in Settings: name, timezone, sex and date of birth.
- Settings > Profile > Sign-in methods shows how you sign in, and lets you add Apple, Google or an email address, or remove one.
- A refreshed sign-in screen, with Intervals.icu, Apple and Google as equal ways in.
- Share cards: pick the visual you like and save the card straight to Photos.
- Fixed: the Health card no longer briefly shows All clear while your data is still loading.
2026.10.10 10月19日
- New accounts start with one "Connect your data" step: Intervals.icu (which brings Garmin, Zwift and more), direct connections and Apple Health, all in one place.
- Upload an activity file straight from the app, the share sheet or Shortcuts.
- Set a default start time for workouts per sport.
- "Effectiveness" is now called Session score in the decision log.
2026.10.9 10月17日
Integrations is now one overview of everything you can connect: watches, bike computers, indoor apps, recovery and AI assistants, with their logos. See what each one sends you and whether it gets your plan; a switch that is off opens straight to the right page in Intervals.icu.
Apple Health shows what it syncs and when it last ran.
Coach+ replies are easier to read, with a header for each turn.
Workout builder (beta): edit a workout Coach+ placed straight from the chat card, and on Max let Review check your workout.
Got IntervalCoach as a gift? Subscription shows your plan instead of buy buttons.
The Max card lists the workout builder's AI.
Fixed: pool swims imported from Apple Health keep their moving time.
2026.10.7 10月15日
- New: the workout builder. Change a planned workout step by step, or build your own, for rides, runs, swims and five more sports, and it goes straight to your calendar and devices.
- On Max, describe a workout in your own words or add a photo of one, and the builder writes the steps.
- Build mode in Train opens the workout builder.
2026.10.6 10月12日
- Today shows your training trend again: This week has your last 7 weeks of load, and Goal and fitness has fatigue, form and a fitness chart up to race day.
- A session you already did today opens its activity, not the plan.
- The goal card has a simpler header with Training plan and Edit goal.
- Siri's briefing now starts with your readiness and today's session.
- Readiness has the same name everywhere in your language.
- The effort scale (RPE) uses the same words as Intervals.icu.
- Today scrolls more smoothly.
2026.10.5 10月11日
- The Today screen opens and scrolls more smoothly, and reading your Apple Health data no longer holds up the app.
- Goal templates show the range of weeks they support, instead of what looked like a fixed length.
- The fitness target slider starts at the right minimum for your goal.
- A cooldown that ramps down is no longer labelled as a rise in the calendar.
2026.10.4 10月10日
- Choose where your HRV comes from in Settings → Training: your connected device or Intervals.icu. Handy if you measure HRV with HRV4Training or Elite HRV, which write to Intervals.icu.
2026.10.3 10月9日
A refreshed IntervalCoach: a calmer design with glass cards that puts today's call first.
- Next to your readiness, Today shows the one thing that matters most right now: an upcoming race, a health signal, today's finished session, a load spike, your next session or your week.
- Colour with meaning: every area and sport has its own colour, and today's outlook takes the colour of the session's intensity.
- Signals are grouped by area (recovery, sleep, HRV, load, body) and open in place.
- A finished session shows what you actually did: your real time, distance and TSS, with the plan alongside.
- Planned runs, walks, hikes and swims show their estimated distance.
- A race day never shows as a rest day.
- Settings, profile and race screens use the new look throughout.
- Recovery times say which day they run until.
2026.10.2 10月7日
- Every activity now has a story card. Tap Share on an activity to preview a card with its name, date, route and numbers, then share it to your Instagram story or save it. Races and new records show their card under the analysis.
- Settings › Integrations now shows your Intervals.icu connections: for each connected app, whether your activities reach IntervalCoach and whether your planned workouts are sent to it.
- Swimming can now be your primary sport, in Settings and when you sign up.
- When your FTP and eFTP differ, Training settings now explains that your sessions are built on a different number than your devices use, and offers a one-tap fix.
- Fixed: Apple Watch workouts could be left behind when a sync was cut short, and never reached Intervals.icu. They are now sent with the next sync.
- Fixed: a workout sync could stop without any message. It now recovers and carries on.
- Screens with a lot of text respond faster.
2026.10.1 10月4日
- Choose which app your HRV comes from. When more than one app writes HRV to Apple Health, Settings → Apple Health lets you pick one, and IntervalCoach reads only that app instead of averaging them all. Switching rebuilds your last 30 days from the chosen app.
- Completed activities show a route profile: elevation with climbs highlighted, time spent climbing, on the flat and descending, and a list of climbs with gradient, power or pace and heart rate.
- Add a group session to your calendar with how hard it will be, and your plan works around it.
- Triathlon is now a race type in the race editor.
- You can attach a course to a race you already created.
- Coach+ no longer fails with "unknown error" when changing a workout that contains a one-minute segment.
- Sending workouts to Apple Watch keeps working after many manual sends.
- Walks, runs and other sports are named correctly on the activity screen.
- Adding a workout from the training plan offers every sport, with your own sports first.
- The goal duration slider shows each goal's own range.
- On iPad and Mac, the race catalog is in the sidebar.
- Race courses up to 40 MB can now be uploaded, with clearer messages when a file is too large.
- Sessions paired with an activity in Intervals.icu no longer show twice on the calendar.
- Approving one of several Coach+ suggestions is no longer lost when you leave the chat or type a message. A held approval now says it is waiting for the others.
- The Coach+ keyboard can always be put away, with a button in the message box.
- Coach+ cards show dates in your language instead of raw timestamps.
- Coach+ approval cards say when races are removed too, and show steady steps correctly.
- A race that fails to save now tells you why.
- Zone scores say when they are based on training volume, and activities explain a missing recovery curve.
- Past workouts sent to Apple Watch are cleared automatically, so there is room for new ones.
- Session durations stay readable on narrow iPhones.
2026.9.17 9月30日
- Add a GPX or FIT course when you create a race, or import a route from Intervals.icu. The race page then shows the elevation profile, climbs, total ascent and start location, and you can download the GPX.
- Race pages now estimate which surfaces the course runs over.
- No training history synced yet? Setup now asks how you have been training, so your first week fits you.
- The app opens faster: each tab loads the first time you open it.
2026.9.15 9月20日
Ready for iOS 27.
- New controls for Control Center, the Lock Screen and the Action Button: start your morning check-in, open Train Now, or check today's readiness at a glance.
- Siri now answers in your language with the same words as the app, and the daily briefing reads your coach's outlook for the day.
- On iOS 27, ask Siri for a workout and it lands on today's calendar without opening the app.
- Your recent activities appear in Spotlight, Siri and Shortcuts. Open one, or ask Coach+ how it went.
- Long-press Today's Plan on the dashboard to move or delete the session.
- A refreshed look on iOS 27: titles sit higher so you see more at once, content fades softly under the tab bar, and cards look as crisp as before.
- The Daily Outlook now updates when your plan changes during the day.
- If Apple Health shares only recent history with IntervalCoach, importing older workouts now tells you so.
- On iPad, making the window narrower keeps you on the section you were in.
2026.9.14 9月17日
Rides and planned sessions open on a fuller page. A ride shows tiles for your fitness, week and plan phase, where it left you, and how it compared with your FTP. A planned session shows its structure on the clock in watts or %FTP, with your coach's notes per step, a switch between indoor and outdoor, and a warning when two sessions clash or your FTP has moved. Missed sessions can be deleted. On iPad and Mac both pages use two columns.
Runs and walks now show splits: your pace, heart rate and climb for every kilometre, or every mile if you train in miles.
If you have bought extra Coach+ messages, you can keep chatting after your monthly messages run out. The message box no longer asks you to upgrade while you still have credits left.
Send to Apple Watch now checks that the workout actually reached your watch before saying it was sent, and tells you what to do when it didn't. A session made of one easy block, such as a recovery run, now arrives with its full main part instead of an empty workout.
2026.9.13 9月15日
New: a What's new card on the Dashboard shows our latest update, with a picture and a short summary. Tap it to read the post; it stays until you close it, and once closed it stays away on your other devices and on the web too.
When you delete your account, the confirmation now says what happens to your subscription. An App Store subscription keeps running until you cancel it with Apple, and the confirmation can take you straight there.
2026.9.10 9月12日
Recovery today: the daily briefing's recovery meter now explains what today's gap means and says where your curves come from. The recovery estimate after a session says whether it is typical for that kind of session or fitted from your own mornings.
Performance Benchmarks (Max) now work the same way as on the web. A Benchmarks switch sits at the top of Analytics, the peer group you pick (sex and age bracket) now changes every chart, the fitness chart shows the peer median CTL, the critical speed chart shades the peer percentile bands, and the app says so when a comparison falls back to population norms. Your choice is saved to your account.
Indoor / Outdoor Bias is now in Settings. Indoor favours shorter, more varied intervals for a smart trainer; outdoor favours longer sustained efforts with stepped warm-ups a head unit can display.
2026.9.9 9月10日
Runs synced from Apple Health now keep their full GPS recording, so a session no longer arrives looking shorter than you ran it. Those runs also carry cadence for the first time. Granting the new Steps permission when the app asks is what makes the cadence work.
2026.9.5 9月7日
TrainNow asks where you will ride: an Indoor / Outdoor switch for rides, so the workout is built for the trainer or for the road, and your calendar entry says which. The Max card on the upgrade screen now lists the AI assistant connection and the 8-week planning horizon.
Fixed: the weekly TSS override no longer appears on the week you are currently in. The field was offered there but the server only accepts future weeks, so your edit reverted with no explanation.
Fixed: Train Now no longer times out while the coach is still building your session. The app gave up after 30 seconds on a request the server is allowed 60 seconds for.
Fixed: the periodisation editor now opens with the phases you saved, instead of resetting to the defaults.
Fixed: the workout approval card in Coach+ names the session it is asking about.
2026.9.4 9月6日
Six more languages: Finnish, Hungarian, Greek, Romanian, Slovak and Latvian.
Coach+ now sends every approval decision together when you tap more than one card, and picks up the conversation you were in if the app restarts.
Wellness values sync to Intervals.icu once the day's numbers are final, so yesterday's figures stop changing after the fact.
The dashboard opens faster.
The consent screen now names every AI provider we use.
2026.9.2 9月2日
Coach+ has a new start screen: it greets you by name, tells you one thing about today, and suggests what to ask right by the message box.
You can now choose how Coach+ works with you. A chip under the message box switches between Ask first (every change comes as a card you approve), Direct (small changes apply right away, with Undo on the card) and Discuss (the coach proposes before it does anything). Your choice is remembered.
Coach+ can also look at a photo. Tap + to pick one from your library or take one: a screenshot of your zones, a device screen, a route profile. Photos are part of Max.
Fixes: resting heart rate and breathing rate from Apple Health are more accurate, the chat no longer shows an empty screen after your first message in a new conversation, and long suggestions wrap instead of being cut off.
2026.8.24 8月31日
Coach+ is a lot smoother: the app no longer freezes when you send a message while the coach is still answering, the coach's reasoning now folds away above the answer, replies can use lists and short headings, and the input box is roomier. Your own messages are easier to read in light mode. The quick-reply buttons under the daily briefing send right away again. Fixes: the beta toggle in Settings sticks, buttons have readable labels everywhere, and the dashboard is more responsive on iOS 26.
2026.8.15 8月30日
Cross-country ski, ski touring and Hyrox races now show their own sport and icon in the race catalog, race editor and clubs. Ski sessions are sent to Apple Watch as cross-country skiing. Changing the sport of a planned session no longer resets it to Ride. TrainNow quick picks now match the web: trail runs get running sessions, Swim tempo builds a tempo session, Strength has all 11 options and Ride and Run get Post-Race.
