Farm Rounds Record expected and actual animal counts, care checks and follow-up notes for a farm round, then share a caretaker handoff. 1. Open Farm Rounds from Tools and select or describe the group. 2. Enter the expected and actual count, complete care checks and note anything that needs attention. 3. Record follow-up resolution and share the round with the next caretaker. Counts and checks are entered manually. A mismatch is a prompt to investigate, not a diagnosis. This tool does not replace veterinary care, direct observation or an emergency response.

Two big planning additions: - Space & Housing Planner: before you buy animals, size what you'll build. Add your animal groups and get coop or shelter floor, outdoor run, pasture acreage, and fixture counts - nest boxes, roost length, feeder space, waterers - at minimum, recommended, or spacious allowances. - Homestead Plan: everything you've planned on one shareable sheet. Housing and land from the Space Planner, daily feed and water from the Feed Planner, and your breeding calendar, assembled automatically and ready to send to a partner, builder, or feed store. Figures are planning estimates from published extension baselines - not veterinary, nutrition, or facility-design advice.

New in 1.4: an Egg Log and a Breeding & Hatch Tracker. Tally each day's egg collection and watch a two-week trend chart with weekly and monthly totals. Save breeding and set dates per animal or batch and count down to every expected due or hatch window, or save a result straight from the gestation calculator. Everything stays on your device, and this update also improves legibility when your phone is in Dark Mode.

Version 1.3 adds Daily Care Board, a practical checklist that turns saved animal groups into feed, water, pasture, housing, behavior, and record-keeping tasks. The board includes daily totals and a shareable text report.

Any Farm 1.2 — What's New Feed & Water Planner (new in Tools) Build a list of your animal groups and get a daily dry-matter (hay) need and water need for each species, with low–high ranges and a monthly hay estimate in tons. The calculator also shows your total Animal Units (AU) and a rough pasture acreage gauge. Figures come from USDA and university extension service publications (NDSU AS1783, Iowa Beef Center, Alabama CES ANR-0812, NRC nutrient requirement tables). Eleven species are supported: beef cattle, dairy cattle, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, alpacas, and llamas.
