1. Say it like Alice
A new card on your home screen. Alice reads one short sentence, you say it
back, then you hear both one after the other. A different sentence every day,
each one chosen for something real English speakers do without thinking —
linking words together, weak sounds, where the stress falls. Nothing is
scored. Your own ears are the instrument.
2. Your voice, then and now
Record one sentence today. Say the same sentence again in a few weeks and play
them back to back. It is the same sentence both times, which is the whole
point — the only thing that changed is you. Recordings stay on your phone and
are never uploaded.
3. Six new badges for getting better
Every badge until now rewarded effort: days in a row, cards learned, minutes
spoken. These six reward improvement — half a band up, a full band up, passing
the B1 or B2 standard, and one for scoring lower and then beating your old
best. Your practice test scores are now kept as a history so the app can show
you a change rather than only a number.
4. Your practice level no longer disappears
A measured band from a practice test could vanish after ordinary use of the
app, so your profile went back to saying you had never been tested. Fixed. Your
last result, and now your full history, stay where they belong and follow you
across devices.
5. You are not the only one
A quiet line on the home screen showing how many people practised this week.
No leaderboard, no ranking, no position. Nothing to be bad at.
